He fell for the ssd meme

>he fell for the ssd meme
imagine being this clueless about storage technology?

i store my penis in your mother everynight

well duh the ssd is going to be slower in that orientation, it's upside down! all the electrons are going to fall out

you can spin the whole hdd and it will get even faster!

wtf I'm selling my SSD now

So does rotational velocidensity still happen to mp3s stored on an SSD?

Please respond.

Not unless you spin the drive yourself.

it's much worse now because of the sharp turns

This, one day I downloaded an MP3 in 320CBR, checked it next week and it was 128 VBR

SSDs: not even once

>Buy 8TB platter HDD
>click...click...click
FML

>store it on cd
>play it a few times
>it already lost bits

Yeah people had 10 year old HDDs and they were like "wow this is fast" because duh the SSD was a lot newer but then they bought a new HDD and was like "wtf this is even faster"

I hate these threads because I can never tell who is being serious or not.

this
My ten year old Sata2 SSD is slower than the HDD i bought yesterday

I only use vinyls for music btw. hate that you lose quality due to sharp turning on SSD's and rotational velocidensity on HDD's.

> durr but vinyls spin too
Idiot. They don't spin fast enough to break the line where rotational velocidensity occurs.

What did Toshiba mean by this?

It could of been unshielded cables between your motherboard and drives. You need to have at least 3 inches of mesh and rubber around the cables, plus ceramic holders to keep them from possibly touching the ground. Otherwise the MP3's will just lose data.

BACKUPS!!!!!

You can take off the HDD casing and spin the platter faster for more read/write speed

>he doesn't overclock the platters

protip: no one

I wonder what that one arrow guy is doing now. I haven't seen them in years I think

no noise vs noise.

I'd like to think so. You can never be sure, though.

Lossy formats will lose data no matter what. Why anybody would care knowing they support a garbage lossy format is the bigger question

I know! Mount the SSD on a HDD motor and make the SSD spin! Max out that access speed!

is serious(ly butthurt)

I choose ssd because they don't make noise.

this all seems redundant, it seems the answer is just to rearrange the chips so they have little to no sharp turns, sure the shape of the SSD changes but small price to pay

Why don't they just make the SSD rotate?

Sour grapes thread?

Can i get a quick rundown?

im surprised ive never seen a troll pic of how to overclock your 7200rpm HDD to 10K rpm with this simple trick that computer manufacturers don't want you to know about

looks like one of these usb killers.

Sata killer perhaps?
>toshiba
yep

he fell for the he fell for the SSD meme meme

...

he fell for the shitty bait thread that has no fucking point because who on Sup Forums is ever going to fall for these? just why? to troll random reddit visitors?

>Not stacking your SSD's like platters and spinning them at full 15k RPM

>tfw fell for the SSD meme
>all of my data is losing bits due to angular momentum bit shift
>pictures I saved yesterday have already shrunk by 20%
This is horrible, absolutely horrible. Why did nobody warn me about this?

I don't think you can handle it.

He's a big guy.

It's a backup power bank retard.

>could of been

KYS ASAP

I know that i should not trust you faggots, but now im a bit scared
my computer store installed an "ssd" into my pc last week

u mad?

Why is your ramdisk so slow

>thinking that it's a ramdisk
kek

...

DO NOT OC HDD

WENT FOR FULL 16K RPM ON WD BLACK AND IT SHATTERED THE PLATTER

FORGOT TO INSTALL A HEATSINK AND THE MERCURY GOT TOO HOT AND KILLED THE HDD

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
