What about it? Rather stupid to use a client with a browser or a search engine since it's bloat and a security risk, but there's nothing inherently terrible about either and you have the option of getting away from bloated clients by using uTorrent 2.2.1.

If you have it installed go to the installation folder (I think now it's in C:/Users/username/AppData/Roaming/uTorrent/) while uT is running look after where it creates these folders:

> dlimagecache
> share
> updates

Especially the last two. Create dummy files and set their attributes to read-only.

Options > Preferences > Advanced...
Turn ALL settings to false:
