I am a Solution Specialist for Verizon. A rebranding of the phrase "Salesperson". I work in the northwest market and have been working here 2 years. That is as much information as I can provide about myself.
Ask any questions you want and I'll answer to the best of my knowledge.

Small bump and insight to the Verizon Unlimited plan
It is infact unlimited and at 4G LTE speeds besides 2 exceptions. There is a 10gb throttle for hot spotting. After you hit 10gb it will still continue to be unlimited but at 3G speeds. Sadly this also hold true for mifi/hot spots. 10gb is still a very healthy amount for mobile on the go hotspotting but it means you cannot use the unlimited plan to replace your home internet. Most customers will never even hit that limit but some business customers are avoiding the unlimited for this exact reason.
The 2nd exception is the 22gb "prioritization" cap. Every line on your unlimited plan will have 22gb of 4G LTE speeds with absolutely no slowdowns. After that is can be selectively slowed but isn't automatically throttled. What this means if if you use more then 22gb on a single line in a given month if the network is currently under stress and too many users are on the same network, you get bumped down and slowed.
This will only happen if there is actual demand by normal users however in most places this will never happen due to population vs. square mileage and for customers in major urban cities it simply means you will only see slower speeds if you are in a very densely populated area.
Overall it is one of the better unlimited options and very fair. We know our network can handle a greater load and give users ample space to utilize it and only slow them if they are making the service unusable for other customers.

Do you think the girl saw my butthole pics when she copied my pics from my old phone to a new one without asking me?
Liam Price
Will you post more nice feet

Any deals for people who switch over to your service?
Xavier Evans
For that prioritization tactic you do, will it affect me if I live near a big city (LA) but not in it? Like 9-10 miles?
Cameron King
Honestly not likely. We use an app called "Content Transfer" to move information between devices if the Verizon Cloud did not save it. If the app is used alone there is no indication of specific images. Only the number of images used.
They may however ever so briefly enter your general gallery too see how many images you have. I do this regularly to see if I can transfer it myself if it is smaller for better customer service or if it is a fuck ton of data that I tell the customer to take care of at home since I cannot baby sit a progress bar for 45 minutes. If we enter the gallery only the most recent images are displayed based on the manufacturer.

There is an ongoing $650 switcher credit that has been extended since last year and I don't see every going away. Basically if you are with another provider and in contract or monthly payments we will buy you out. We take the phone itself in as credit and then you provide a copy of your final bill with your older provider. We then will send you a Visa prepaid card for the remaining difference between what your phone was worth and how much you owed. So basically
>Owe $400 on phone either through ETF or buyout >Phone is worth $150 >Trade phone into Verizon >We give you $150 of upfront credit for cases or equipment rest goes to gift card >remaining $250 is sent as Visa card
It basically will make you whole for switching providers however it does take 6-8 weeks so you MUST pay your older provider and get reimbursed on the back end.
This is a fundamental fallacy of customers. We will help you get out of a shitty provider but we don't do the fucking leg work. YOU have to take care of YOUR shit and we will pay you back what it costed you.

Depends entirely on towers my dude. The rule is if there are enough users on your specific tower that the overall experience must be slowed, you are going to be the one slowed.

I have a phone and don't want data. I only want to call and text, and I will only send maybe a few texts a month. What is the cheapest verizon plan I can get?
Dominic Bailey
If it is a smart phone you must be on a data plan. The cheapest is a $40 3gb prepaid plan. If you have a basic flip phone you can get unlimited talk/text for $30 or pay as you go minutes.
Luis Hill
Sad. I fapped to the idea of that girl seeing my butthole
Caleb Collins
what would the cheapest thing I could do if it doesn't have to be verizon?
Wyatt Turner
Most smaller leech carriers are like $25-35 a month and they use our towers but at a very low priority. I cannot give you a detailed answered because it is very much determined by location. All the cheapo providers are just using the major providers towers and paying us for their usage. This means slowly and limited service since they only pay use to use particular towers and those are selected based on population.
Lincoln Campbell
how come no contract phones are locked down and you can't get updates?

Which AS does verizon keep their lawful intercept equiptment for portland on? I want to see if I'm right.
Joshua Evans
Is it still possible to get a prepaid daily plan? I need one day of service to do some stuff with an old phone of mine.
Robert Brown
dunno
dunno
I mean you can do by the minute but to my knowledge there is no 24 hour plan
Noah Jackson
Do you guys share your ESN blocklist with AT&T and T-Mobile? I'm guessing no, considering I've been using a lost/bad ESN Verizon Note 3 on AT&T for like 2 years.
Brody Price
As far as i've been told. Anything on the lost or stolen list is shared between providers but that is just something I heard awhile back that I just reference. In practice anyone using a phone listed on the lost or stolen is a poor piece of shit 4 ear piercing visual trash human that you know is likely a thief.
Reminds me of the most fucking infuriating interaction. Some homeless shit smelling like liquid feces and garbage comes into the store. He cannot afford food according to him but he shells out $170 for a phone WITH UNLIMITED DATA.
Then he leaves and walks across the road the road to beg for money.

When will people be able to use any phone they want on Verizon's network?

When Jews cease to exist

Does Verizon have any plans to switch to GSM?
Joseph Russell
I don't know why so many companies wanna rebrand every term in their workplace/workforce
Employee or Customer Service Rep becomes "Service Specialist/Agent"
Salesperson becomes "sales associate"
Its like they're PC-ing all their shit
Charles Ramirez
No, both 2g gsm and 1x cdma are being phased out, there will only be 4g LTE, maybe 5g in the US by 2021.
Cooper Reed
No
On that I agree. However Verizon is liberal as fucking shit. We have employees with tattoos up their arms and around their necks. Not just random tattoos featuring skulls and hang nooses. Verizon is all about "inclusion" so any kind of feature that marks you as different is actually a plus in the hiring process.
Noah Parker
Are you on Verizon yourself?
Jason Gonzalez
get ting, pay 5/month + whatever data / calls you use
