Fuggg wtf, why is this crap so expensive

should i pull the trigger?

RAM is crazy expensive right now, I hope you'd have a good reason for getting 32 GB. You could probably get a less expensive motherboard, too.

>650w psu
>full price motherboard
>32gb of ram
>1700x and not 1600 or 1500

kys kid

>xe fell for the muh coars meme

just get the r5 1600 idiot

Why buing a expensive X370 Mainboard?
Take a look at the MSI B350 Krait or Carbon Gaming, they tend to have more then enough VRMs and are generaly the best bang for a buck

>RAM is crazy expensive right now

Why do you people keep saying this.

Everytime I read this I look up ram prices and its the exact same price as it was when I bought it 1 year ago

The trigger? Yes kys.

No it isn't. Same as SSDs. The price increased by over 50%.

Where did you even find ram that expensive.
Most retarded build I've ever seen.

RAM was about $100 for 64GB back in 2015...

The jews had to do a hard reset on prices since it was dropping too low. it will creep lower and lower, then they will reset it again

get Gigabyte B350 Gaming 3
get 16gb of ram instead of 32
r5 1600 is also an option but up to you

>getting a 1600 instead of a 1700X
lol???

There's no reason NOT to get the 1700X when it offers 6900K-tier performance for the price of a 7700K.

>he fell for the ryzen meme
top kek

Unless you're going for a big overclock and you're in a hot country, don't get the X versions, all the chips can pretty much reach 4 GHz but no further, the only slight differences are due to better binning.

Save yourself the price of a good cooler and get the non-X.

if its too EXPENSIVE to get 1700 then its BETTER to get 1600 than to pay happy merchant for his 4 cores

idk man, apparently the Ryzen mainboards are all buggy and thats the one that I read that immediately supports 3200 mhz RAM without having to configure anything

None of the Ryzen chips can really reach 4 GHz unless you win the silicon lottery.

The only one that has the highest chance is the 1800X, and even then it's a low chance.

Reddlt says a 1800X has 67% chance of 4Ghz, a 1700X has 33% and 1700 is 1 in 5 chance of 4Ghz but 70% chance of at least 3.9.

So the odds aren't too bad.

>Reddit
Kill yourself.

You're probably too new to even know why we hate reddlt. You're just following the hivemind opinion, which makes you just as bad as them.
Why don't you go choke on a dick, faggot?

I've been here since 2008. I'm 100% sure I know why we hate Reddit.

Also, overclocking any Ryzen CPU is generally unfeasible because of the insane voltages required to keep the chip stable as well as the heat output.

>I've been here since 2008. I'm 100% sure I know why we hate Reddit.
Well this time they're actually posting useful content instead of stealing shit and circlejerking, so give it a fucking rest.

Overclocking is obviously best with a real cooler, but unlike Intel's crap the stock AMD coolers are actually half decent.

That was for DDR3

I got my 64GB kit for just a bit over $100 from Newegg.

>using stock coolers
>ever
Might as well buy a prebuilt.

The stock coolers with ryzen are better than many after market coolers

>why is a pure gaymurr meme build so expensive?

You tell me, doc.

Reddit is 99% white knight shit, but it's still useful for information, news and the occasional discussion.

...

No they arent't, they are much better than the shit Intel includes but still mediocre (enough for really good stock, and overclock up to 3.9Ghz, but high temps and noise) a 212 EVO is much better temps and noise wise

212 is a tiny bit better than the wraith gurt whack edition, but that's oem only. The wraith spire on the 1600/1700 is a fair bit worse, but it's still more than serviceable.

The 212 EVO with size alone and bigger FAN cools the same at far lower noise, for overclock you will get the same performance for both, only reason to change cooler on Ryzen is to reduce noise or for aesthetics.

what's wrong with ryzen

ahahha cuk
