Browsers can bypass hosts file

Maybe there's an addons searchbox that googles.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah, if they reference the IP address as opposed to the hostname. I've never seen that happen though.

Its been broken on firefox for a while, at least for me even on a clean install. Only no script fixes it.

>my fucking face when I'm Google Analytics certified
>my fucking face when I use GA all the time at work
>my fucking face when a few neckbeards on Sup Forums think they can win against us

Sure, sure, we lose out on 5 percent of the population. We still have 95 percent of the world's normies to exploit

>my fucking face when I have uBlock, GA disabled on my personal computers at home

Then explain how it shows up in Firefox even though I blocked it in the hosts file

>uses power user addon, discovers the embedded mozilla addon page uses google analytics
>doesn't use said power user addon to disable analytics for that embedded page
>complains that firefox is botnet

FUCKING NORMIES GET OFF MY BOARD

>analitics

>ANALitics

js enbaled browsers become open sores.

I don't care if you can block it just the fact that's it's there is enough for it to be bad. Sup Forums always complains about Chrome being botnet but Firefox is just as bad.

at least you can disable ist in firefox. You can never stop chrome from connecting to google.

use ungoogled-chromium

All major software (including most "open source" softare) is botnetted, you literally cannot escape the botnet in the modern age unless you go full RMS

no its shit and rarely updated

What about it is shit? It's even faster than regular google chrome, and if you want to use extensions that google removed from the chrome web store it doesn't prompt you to remove them on every startup like regular google chrome. As for updates, it gets an update for every major release (57 -> 58, etc..) so what's the problem?

hurrrr

>not installing gentoo

Firefox bypasses the hosts file

?
