Why don't phones have IR blasters anymore? I've been thinking about replacing my S6 later this year, but the only reasonably sized new phone to have one is the Honor 9.

Still hanging on to my M8 because I don't want to lose the blaster. Nothing like watching a bunch of sports goons go crazy at the bar when I change the channel in the middle of a game.

>A feature Apple could have but doesn't because they are so fucking pretentious
>Why aren't you using your smart connected network app through home kit user

I am an apple fag but Loved playing with a s5 that I was doing droid development work with and testing some universal remote ir apps on the side

Great also when batteries run out

> this and fm transmission Apple will never understand

It isn't no.

what for

>tv remote falls under bed
>too bored to lay on the floor and get it
>use $50 lg phone to control tv
>that was 2 months ago
>remote still under bed
lul

Good question but I only found use in controlling public space televisions i.e. turning the volume up so I can hear it.

Quite literally is though.

Except it isn't

IR was a meme when it was used to transfer files, but it makes sense for short messages.
TV is dead, nobody ever bothered to make a decent TV remote (don't know why), but then again the majority of the tech industry is retarded and fears innovation.
The smartphone revolution made it clear that everybody is done trying to make something that isn't the next iphone so we are not even looking to make a decent phone.

die

Doesn't change facts.

Failing this hard. . .

Yeah, you're trolling but just in case some people here on Sup Forums are actually getting confused by you I'll link the wikipedia article that debunks your silly claim in the second sentence:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electromagnetism

inb4 flat earth, sheeple and other silly stuff.

Light is a particle you sheep.

muh brotha

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Light

Literally the first sentence:
>Lightiselectromagnetic radiationwithin a certain portion of theelectromagnetic spectrum.
