Setting up an ssh server is the most trivial shit ever, and basically every file manager is capable of reading SFTP locations.

If you want a copy, this is way less stupid than it sounds.
this
you can simply mount the volume as nfs with an entry in fstab. it's much better then the clusterfuck that samba is.
>in fstab
Time to upgrade to .mount and .automount kid.
systemd has made fstab mounting obsolete.
just send yourself the files as email attachments.

Correct, especially if you are using Linux
Fucking nfs client is only built in on windows 10 pro/enterprise and any free software for windows is old and doesn't support nfsv4
Cloud storage. It is literally the simplest way. It requires no maintenance, has no downtime, and doesn’t have any special ports that can get fucked with by tinpot access-point admins.
rsync is the correct answer
No - firing up a webserver to basically copy files sounds stupid. But it's kinda brilliant stupid. Especially considering this could be pretty easily thrown into a script. I like it.
This is a one way 'share' tho..
>share with myself
that's right
