Help me decide Sup Forums

Hello
I don't know which to choose
Should I use Firefox or Google Chrome
Since Google Chrome gone to crap and is barely usable and works like a turtle on mustard gas I might just use Mozilla Firefox because it got an update that makes the browser use multiple processes instead of just one and has a little chance of crashing and is also faster and uses less memory than Google Chrome
What do you say Sup Forums

Oh yeah, forgot to mention the new Firefox Nightly

Lol this is a good post

10q
if you're sarcastic
still,
10q

Use whichever you like best.

Chrome is faster and lets you sync everything, but you have to be comfortable with Google having all your data

Firefox is more customizable and somewhat more private

I wasn't being sarcastic.
Also 10q is pretty cute. Do you mind if I use that from now on?

Use Firefox. It has more features and is made by a company which actively fights for online privacy. Use FF Nightly only if you don't mind daily updates.

Firefox has had sync for a long time now.

Why use Chrome when Chromium exists?

Waterfox

install chrome
install gentoo

Why would anyone install Chrome over Chromium or Brave?

firefox allows you to have a local sync repo that is 100% foss and decentralized from mozilla

firefox is not owned by mozzila
only the name itself and the logo

everything that you disagree with can be disabled or modified in about:config

even chromium requires binaries and ungoogled-chromium switched to BSD license from GPL

if you barely use addons id suggest nightly because its like rolling release and its very snappy

one is for right, nationalistic people.

The other is for communist uncultured swines.

Pic your poison, OP.

beta vs nightly?

Yes, Firefox is the white man's browser.

Enjoy your new, better browser.
Can also recommend using Sup Forums-x.net/

Go with Firefox.
It's pretty good right now.

But, if you really want webkit, go Nik's Chromium Build, not Chrome.

This.

Opera > Chrome.

add NoScript to the list.

search for it on the add-on section

Anyone tried Vivaldi browser?

Chrome = Speed

Firefox = Customization

I personally never had any problems with speed on Firefox and I've used it for like the past 10 years. Even when I used a shitbox PC I didn't really have any problems with Firefox.

...

I recently switched to FF from Chrome.

FF is way more customizable. Session manager is fucking amazing and I'm glad have it back after years of using Chrome. I can have a huge number of tabs and windows open and if it ever crashes, I won't lose what I was doing.

Chrome kinda sucks in that regard, if it crashes, I lost what I was doing. Chrome is faster than FF thought, but only slightly.

What's so great about Nik's Chromium Build?

what version are you using? what settings did you change?

I vote Firefox for the following reason

youtube.com/watch?v=n2YPbra58Zw

one is a closed source browser by a for profit organization.

one is an open source browser by a non-profit organization.

use your fucking head.

meant for profit corporation. fuck google.

>I can have a huge number of tabs and windows open and if it ever crashes, I won't lose what I was doing.

Tabs outliner + Chromium based browser > Firefox with any session manager extension.

Any other essential add-ons for waterfox besides the ones you mentioned ublock, NoScript etc.

Chrome if you are interested in entering a botnet.
Waterfox > Firefox (less bloat faster speed)
Qutebrowser if you want to look like a gnu / Linux god.
Palemoon if you have a old machine.
Brave if you prefer their botnet over Google's.

>noscript
Not needed unless you diving into the deepweb

With Decentraleyes, can I stop using uMatrix?

What is /Gs opinion on Opera. Used to use it a lot during 1.12 until eventually it became incompatible with a lot and since then it has striven to be chrome

firefox is bloated and slow and still relying on that gecko mess.

I use chromium, it just werks

then get chromium

>Not needed

it is if you want decent xss and clearclick protection

Less botnet.

PULSEAUDIO

Using it right now. Its pretty good.

You know that Mozilla Foundation/Corporation main source of income was google and yahoo?

Download firefox v23, manually install security.

You're welcome
