Smartasses of Sup Forums please help me out. Recently i lost my mouse. Its a generic black with red scrollwheel lenovo mouse. Now i found exactly looking mouse at my work today which i mighy have left when i brought my laptop in but i am not sure of it. By the looks its my mouse but i cant just take a mouse from work i need to be sure.
So how can i check it? Lets say how can i see if this mouse was already plugged in to my computer earlier?
Please help with all possible options. I have plugges thia mouse into one more laptop earlier and i have seen one more similar mouse same model at work.

If you're on linux you should be able to check dmesg logs and check the id with lsusb If not on loonix then you're fucked kiddo
Jace White
Fuck. Seriously no way? Is there no registry key that stores some id unique to the mouse?
Easton Gomez
Not that I'm aware of You could see if Windows has event logs that track USB events and if it records a unique USB id
Xavier Scott
Seriously? Just bring the dongle in to work, see if it pairs.
Michael Bell
He never said it was wireless if it is wireless though then you're a fucking retard unless you also lost the dongle
