Battlestation thread - awesome meme edition.

How many memes have you fallen for? Satisfied?

>sitting that close to your router

ay lmao

>running linux

Better than yesterday's thread. Fucking winfags.

meh. wifi was too weak since main router is in living room so i got this and set it up as an access point. nowhere else in the room to really put it

10/10 Best I've seen in a long time.

>running linux
>gentoo
>tacking all that objectively unnecessary shit on to it just to use up screen real estate and justify buying that monitor
>actual headphone stand that probably cost half the price of those headphones
>actual printer
yeah no, this isnt really better.

0/10 No pic can't rate

also
>racing pedals
>computer jammed under desk and in corner killing airflow
kek

5/10 No pic but agree

Could I buy racing pedals like that and bind them to fun shit?
Like hit the break pedal to go back in my browser, hit the clutch to open a new tab?
That would be cool as fuck.
>he doesn't control his computer with his feet.

why is the router sitting right under the monitor?

Get a cable raceway to hide that cable from your pedals.

music and email are unnecessary? dafuq?

also headphones are $300 and stand was $9 so not sure what your point is

not a bad idea

Because I needed an AP in my bedrpom abd I don't have ethernet wall ports so in limited to where my ethernet cords are. Only other option is to wrap another ethernet cable along my baseboard somewhere else and I dont really care that much

lmao

>memes
CRT - great
Trackball mouse - great
Headphone amp - shite

Rest I just pick up form carboot with no Sup Forums influence

9.9/10

6.5/10 too messy

Great looking setup. You're a lucky guy OP.

...

MORE LEDS

you can mount the router under your desk with 3m velcro thingies
this would look cool it was organized
turn off the obnoxious GEFORCE GTX 1080 TI thing lad, unless you're into that

>wifi that close
>salt lamp

Dude you're in for troubles. When salt gets heated it releases tiny particles in the air, i heard a dude got stomach issues because he kept breathing that shit for months.

As for wifi, it's bad for your head.

Sit / Standing desk.

Cable management was a fucking pain in the ass since the desk needs to be adjustable in height.

But i think i managed to do something quite nice.

I see you use emacs :^)

I'm looking for a table. What's an optimal height for one?

6'

>current year
>computer has manual transmission

well meme'd frend

that is a nice table top. did you do it yourself? did you finish it yourself?

:^)

shhhhh

>brainlet feels better than others 'cuz muh OS'.

you better timestamp that shit nigga

...

Sorry, wrong thread boys.

you can fix that by posting the machine, i mean, posting a picture of the machine.

is that a gaming rig or something?

I do love that desk! Info please!

R8 my memes

No. Mining, but I actually get better hashrates with SLI enabled.

Get bent faggot
>Muh loonix

Plz don't tell me you actually paid $4000 for that gaming laptop

What's your opinion on your headphones? (CB-1's) thinking about getting a pair

Are those Sentry fans useful?

...

What keyboard is this?

32-34"
Oak stained and sanded down, finished with wipe on poly
Legs are custom, check above for desktop
WASD Code clears w/ GMK Dolch

It's a joke because that laptop was stolen from a trade-show.

Reddit: The Battlestation

Reddit: The Post.

>that prompt poster

Nice deflection there p4kdrone

it was a good drunk purchase

Yo

serious question, do you fuck those pillows?

you degenerate fuckwad.

if hitler was alive he would gas you and your like.

Entry taste and a lolicon, eh

look at these autismos talking about where to put the "router"

damn, I'm embarrassed to be posting on this same website with you

The CB-1s are pretty good, the fact that they are only $80 makes them great. They are pretty neutral sounding as they are intended to be studio monitors. I travel alot for work and those are what I always take with me, they fold up, closed back, low impedance so I can plug them straight into my phone, and very comfy. Plus if I lose them or they get stolen, they're only $80. Would recommend if you just want a good set of cans but you don't fuck with DACs and amps. Although if you're considering buying them for home use only then there is an open back version as well, can't comment on them though since I've never listened to them.

At home I usually use the HD650s you see behind my switch.

Give it back Jamal

>Red switch Cherrys meme
pretty comfy and significantlly reduced my wrist pain from typing/gaming.

>Steel Series Rival meme with a large mousepad
big and comfy for the hands and the accuracy is pretty cool for games and productivity alike

>IKEA Markus meme
it just werks, I can sit on it for hours without issues

>Noctua 3000 RPM fan for the exhaust
It keeps the temps reasonable but I still need to buy a proper intake fan as the ones I have are shit.

In conclusion, since I buy things after I do extensive research I don't regret any of the stuff I bought so far.

No that's what an onahole is for

...

9/10 setup. What do you think about mic and tablestand, does it pick sound from keyboard?

city?

A little bit, I think the mousepad enhances the thud from it being pushed down onto the desk.

I mostly use push-to-talk though.

>Aria posters

At least there's something to save in this hot mess.

The only thing that saves it

No bully

Feels bad having a small desk.

One of these days I'll clean up my cables.

Nice audio setup. Is that a Samyang 12mm f/2.0?

>Is that a Samyang 12mm f/2.0?
yessir
i see you've really spread your schiit.
how do you find the k701s compare to the k712s?
here's a picture taken with the 12mm.
i bought it to do astrophotography but haven't got round to actually doing any yet.

Would really like some feedback.

i have a feeling that table shakes like crazy
the hanging knife and the fiji bottles are tacky, remove them pls
get a mount for the monitor or stain the wood its sitting on since it doesn't match

>i have a feeling that table shakes like crazy
it doesnt.

>the hanging knife and the fiji bottles are tacky, remove them pls
forgot about the knife. will do. as for the fijis, i got them thinking they'd look good. i might keep them for the meme though.

>get a mount for the monitor
ill get on that soon, literally just got this monitor a few days ago

>stain the wood its sitting on
was considering that, but since this table was only $40 I might just get a permanent one that's darker and wider (96x30 instead of 96x18).

Working on networking those two towers together
Apparently you can't just plug in an ethernet cable connecting them and then be able to access one from the other.
Everything's running latest Ubuntu, but I can really only do things on my laptop since towers don't have network adapters.

Nice. Was (still am) thinking of getting that lens for my a6000. Worth it?
K701s are nice, a little different from the K712. Less bass, but a touch more detail in the highs. Also have K612s, but the other two are better overall. K712 is still my favourite, and sits a bit comfier.

screenshot pls?

>IBM spacesaver 2

My nigga

C88 is pretty cool

Got it working on the IBM

Love it

Nice keyboard ;')

I hope you are plugged into ethernet when it's that close to your computer.

I can smell how underage you are.

the sad part is hes like 20

...

...

since i don't have a proper battlestation at the moment, i drew how it should look like when i buy my new system

Alright how do I get my browser and IRC looking this nice? Teach me pls, it looks gorgeous

>that case
>those posters
>the fucking glasses

Get Aves Style Builder and get a windows theme off deviant art then modify it if you want

>audio equipment, presumably for recording
>pedals, presumably for playing video games
>gentoo

?????

whats the rightside monitor?

I have that desk
If you live in the UK, you won't be able to fit plugs through the gap on the plug shelf making just that bit harder to do shit

You've never heard of the professional TuxRacer scene?
