This is part of the plot for chinks to make all of us 外人 convert to 日本ese. As the character limits get more stringent, our only way of communicating will be to shift to languages with more information per symbol.
Chinese and Japanese contain less information per syllable though, and it's way harder to type.
It's a shitty language except for decoration and Twitter.
>Chinese and Japanese contain less information per syllable though
true

What is stopping you from making your own website with NVARCHAR2(4000)?
Do you even do free open source software?
>Chinese and Japanese contain less information per syllable though
Why would that matter when the choice of ideograms can provide as much information as an entire dictionary definition and each character represents 1-2 syllables, dumbass? It's only an issue when you speak it, otherwise it's compact and information-dense.
Classical Chinese was even more laconic, allowing for those pithy micro-sentences that you can do in Latin for example thanks to declensions, except it didn't use declensions (as far as we know: we're not quite sure how it worked in spoken form.)
