Just got this for $40

Just got this for $40

Did I do good? Need a good mouse for Maya 3D, Adobe stuff and maybe some occasional gaming.

Yeah the sensor is good

I tried it in Maplins the other day. It's super comfy for my hands. Didn't buy it though because I want wireless.

what's this sniper button i'm seeing in many new mice lately? what function does it serve that LMB doesn't?

i think it lowers mouse acceleration for more precise movements

the real question is. what mouse pad you rocking my dude?

i have a g9x that has served me faithfully but is beginning to show first signs of death. i want a new mouse but i hate it all those special snowflake buttons i always end up pressing them by accident and i never need them. they're everywhere now

Excelent mouse. Ok price.

By default, yes. Of course, you can map it to w/e the fuck you want it to be in software too. I use it as intended when I play Widow in Overwatch.

You can just disable or remap to something else

This, I have the G502 and a good surface is important.

There's an option in settings to change your zoom sens...

Pretty good. Just keep your hands clean. That sucker collects dirt like my messy neighbours

Only problem I have with it is the amount of buttons, but other than that it's a pretty good mouse.

If you want to have a second zoom sensiivity, like how some games give you variable zooms (2x and 10x), that's what the button is for.

>bind jump to scroll wheel
>click turbo button
>enjoy bhop bants

>have g502
>have c4 nGen mousepad
>have c4 nGen feet all over bottom of mouse
>mouse still fucking stutters and sticks to mousepad, can't make really precise movements
>doesn't glide well, skips .5-1mm at a time

how the fuck do i get U L T R A precise gliding and tracking? I can't snipe when it jumps and stutters everywhere. I barely move my wrist when i play, so i move the mouse mainly with my fingers. This shit has been plaguing me for years.

Get a real nerd mouse pad like an artisan shiden kai.

What mouse is this?

c4mousepads.com/C4Ngen.htm

this is what i bought

it has fucking wrinkles on it

reeeeeeeee

I bought the g402(same shape as your 502 OP) and used it for about a year because I was a g400 fanboy. But I put my hand on a death adder at the store and the shape was just so perfect. Exactly what I was looking for in a mouse. The main "bump" of the mouse is much further up on the deathadder so it fits your hand better.
Anyway I go to buy it and bring it home. next day I look at the receipt and it was only $10. Go back the next day to buy 2 more, total came out to $20. Got three of them for $30. This just happened. It's walmart, when you ring it up at self check out it just comes up as "Mice - - - - - - $10 ". Friend tried it at another store and it didn't work so idk how its happening.
I think for occasional gaming you would get better quality of life from a nice office mouse like an mx-master type mouse. But the g502 is great otherwise. Top tier Pixart 3360(3366?), logitech warranty which is great, weight system, etc.

You're going to think I'm a huge faggot but my motherboard is an asus and it came with their "whetstone" mouse pad. It's a sheet of rubber but the top has these little grooves and the thing changed my fucking life. The mouse glides flawlessly on it no matter what speed or downward pressure I put on it and you can clean the pad with water. They're expensive but I think if I knew how good it is I would have bought it. Comes with the maximus viii hero whetstone mobo.

does shit not get stuck in the ridges? i'm super autistic so i clean my pad of all dirt/hair/debris every few hours and i have a toothbrush for my mouse

I have that, I enjoy it for the most part. Only thing that aggravates me is the damn buttons where the thumb rests. Always accidentally hit them and specifically the one that changes profiles and my DPI goes all over the place, shits annoying. idk if you can disable them, next mouse I'm getting ain't gonna have that gay shit, just left right click and mouse scroll.

Looking at mine up close theres maybe 4 white specs on it but I was able to just brush them off with my thumb. Keep in mind I eat at my desk. They're not deep at all and the grooves are what keep the mouse from getting stuck.
I really suggest just ordering one from a place with a good return policy since you're going off user's word but trust you will love the fucking thing if you're getting triggered that hard by the mouse skidding on yours.

What mouse is this? G500 series?

My shiden kai has been fucking glorious. Best pad I've used for laser mice too.

The only downside is that it sheds glass shards for a week if you bend it during moving.

Work well with G240, Cougar speed, CM Swift-RX and cheap chink pad.
Your pad is just shit.

cop yourself a better mouse and pad famb

>glass shards

that sounds fucking horrifying. do they get ingrained in your wrist? i'm hesitant to buy that one but they have others I might get

Download the software and save with on-board memory. When you done you can uninstall the software.

This mouse is so comfy. Mine is a bit broken, but I still use it for how comfy it feels.

Forgot the pic, but not that really important.

mamba 2012 is even better if sensor replaced with the DA Elite

Think my old Zowie FK1 is on its way out, middle mouse opens new tabs up to 4 times, side buttons seem to go forward/back more than once too.

Anyone else experienced this?

If it's a hardware issue i'm in the market for a new mouse. RIP my pre-benq Zowie.

more buttons

razer
>cable frayed after 6 months
>LMB stops working after 1 year
>cheap plastic gets easily dented when I hit my aluminum keyboard because 300 DPI

logitech
>use every single button
>works after 2+ years
>barely scratched from keyboard
how is razer even in business

It's not for fucking pussies so yeah you should look elsewhere.

Yeah my za13 does that with middle clicks and I think it started to do it with left clicks at the end of its use.

I bought an ec1-a and once the left/right stuck from being carted around in my bag, and the cable looks like a melted dog's chew toy that's been left out in the sun for too long.

Zowie mice feel great in the hand but their QC is horrible. I bought a g400s off ebay because they came down in price to normal levels again. If you're after a good palm grip mouse (fk1 is lower profile) I can't recommend it enough. If you want something similar in shape to the fk1 check out the nixeus revel or dream machines dm1 pro S. Both around 85 grams with 3360 sensors.

Advertising, son. Hell, they probably spent more money on packaging than QC.

has the worst glide of any mouse i've felt, wheel is also shit

Thanks for the recommendations, probably leaning towards the Nixeus out of those two, the dpi-specific lighting of the Dream Machine DM1 kills it for me.

It will match your razer mousepad and windowed rgb setup very well.

both have dpi specific lighting

only works in bhop servers. Still fun tho

Its annoying as fuck to clean the small gaps and the sides

How bad is the scream mouse?

not bad at all

what do you lads think about the g600? i need more keybinds for WoW

pic related

come to think of, did they make a follow-up on the G602?

wash your fucking hands before handling your hardware

>I barely move my wrist when i play, so i move the mouse mainly with my fingers.
found your problem

They will rebrand G703 (which is G403 rebranded) and make that a G603.

I'm using my G502 with 3200 DPI and don't have any problem. His mouse pad is just shit.

It's an awesome mouse. I've had one for nearly 3 years now and it barely shows any wear after thousands of hours of use. The only thing I do not like about it, is my ring finger and pinkie do not really have a resting spot. Still though, I like it way more than any other mouse on the market

haha oh you funny ass clown you

>ring finger and pinkie do not really have a resting spot
This. If only G502 got larger rear end it would be the perfect mouse.
Well I got myself a nice palm grip mouse now, but still use G502 sometime.

I wishthey would've rounded out the angular left and right mouse buttons, it would've looked so much nicer.

Logitech G203 or G Pro. I opened mine up and removed the side buttons and covered them over with grip tape. It's comfy

Even the second edition doesn't completely get rid of the slam clicks. Scroll wheel feels like garbo, though it may be a Finalmouse trademark like Zowie and their scroll wheels.

With the ridiculous price they're asking for, it's not worth it.

Wow, user, great moves, keep it up, proud of you.

I see this is on sale for $60 down from $80 on amazon for prime day. Still worth it?

Or would this be a better investment at $40?

Sweet bicycle helmet OP...oh wait you mean that's a, nah can't be.

Depending on your hand size and grip style. G502 has weird narrow but high body and the right side is too concave. Wouldn't recommend if your hand is wider than 9cm (thumb to pinky).

do not get wireless shit
