Most devices are flawed at launch. Including the iPhone. Which is why patches exist.
Get an upgrade plan at your local carrier. It's literally that easy.

No bezels on a supposedly (according to leaks) 4.7inch display seems pretty small to me. The galaxy s8 is 5.8 inches and even that is sometimes awkward to hold.
