/guts/ thread?

RMAd my two 970 FTWs, got two 1070 FTWs, sold those on ebay and got the 1080ti FTW3. Still have $30 left too. I'm going to delid my 4690k and overclock the piss out of it to help me last another year or so.

Got free upgrades from EVGA too
switched these to a single 1080ti FTW3 also

...

sure, why not.

I will fight you see

Looks red.

Why do you want to fight?

looks like we have the same motherboard and you took a pic on the blue cycle :p

This good service and people still dare to call them Jews...

Yours is bigger.

First of all, my motherboard is the AX370 Gaming-5, didn't go all-in with K7.

Secondly, I only have a 500 GB SSD and 3x2TBs.

I do have the on-motherboard LEDs in cycle mode in the BIOS. On that topic, I'm curious: You probably have two four-pin connectors on your motherboard for .. some kind of LED thing, don't you?

Have you looked into what could .. fit and be used by those connectors? They do sell plenty of things like this on chink express,

aliexpress.com/item/3528-5050-5630-Warm-Cool-White-300led-SMD-RGB-LED-Strip-Ribbon-Light/2047119012.html

..but I'm not sure what would actually work. I'm also a bit wary of connecting some random $2 piece of plastic and electronics to a .. more expensive .. motherboard/CPU/system.

Very nice.

My LED strip is a molex connector because I was on an AM3+ motherboard. So I don't use the RGB connector.

I don't really think the RGB connector is that useful, just buy a strip of what colour you want and go with that, bit cheaper too.

As with the chink LEDs, not sure if they would work, I think the RGB connector is a 5 pin, not sure.

[ 83835.760] (II) AMDGPU(0): Manufacturer: AOC Model: 2752 Serial#: 322

I too like those AOC monitors (2x1440p, 1x1080p). :)

It would appear that I have _two_ LED connectors on the motherboard, one is indeed 5 pin and the other is 4-pin.

There's a .. difference between RGB and RGBW?

...

Get the 5050 LEDs from that link and hook it up to the 5 pin on the motherboard

Requesting a picture of what screws are holding the bottom HDD cage on the Fractal Design R5

I removed it a while back but want to put it back in, but I can't for the life of me remember which screws are meant for it.

Just a picture of the bottom of your case (with the bottom dust filter removed) will suffice.

Thanks in Advanced

I contacted Fractal Design support and they literally responded, with pictures in less than 10 minutes. Very nice

Just waiting on my cryorig h7

What? You don't get upgraded and stronger cards if you RMA old cards.

Prove this shit now.

waiting for am4 bracket to arrive so i can install watercooling other than that i love this case and everything else

have been kinda waiting for this thread ))))
Where is my fellow 1366 nigguh with the asus stx and the fucked up pump; Did your onboard sound have noise and did the stx then remove it? I'm having horrible sound issues when gaming, Desktop use is quiet wityh minimal noticable noise on Headphones now after rerouting the internal Audio cable.
I'm about to get the asus stx 2 with the 7.1 daughterboard which i will be using, but im worried that it, sitting in the only free slot above my graphics card, might introduce new noise. Anyone with expirience here?

Also:
looks really comfy/neat. Has the picture been edited?

my boy with the vardars

...

You do in some cases

If they don't have the card in stock.

Jesus cant you clean up the cabling a bit?

lol looks like you ordered the wrong motherboard

lol yah I know I should be like everyone else and get an atx with a bunch of useless features on it that i will never use. I'll stick wit the essentials, less things to break.

fag

I would if i were able to. While i can and will get a PSU with modular cables, my case doesnt allow me to route the SATA power cable below the motherboard. The audio connector has been hanging around there in preparation for a soundcard/noise reduction. The cables in the mid are temperature probes for Chipset/NIC-cooler(/CPU Cooler). And i dont want to change the case because all the recent cases miss those ~8 5,25" Bays on the right side which i find really useful and am going to use soon™.

In summary, no can't do.

>i'm wrong so I call people fags
alright kiddo

nigger

>REEEEEEEEEEEE
Man you need to relax, getting little worked up there. When white boy privilege doesn't work.

I feel like with that red glow with the bright pops, your PC is just screaming pic related

kek, hes not going to be able to unsee this now. build forever ruined.

OP here. I also RMAd my GTX480 that died, and they sent back a GTX770.

In the case of the 970s, they just didn't have any 970 FTW models to send out so they sent me the 1070 FTW, but they were the DT model.

I don't get it. Why have an ATX case and put an ITX board in it? This makes no sense from any angle that I can come up with. A full sized board is going to do everything better and you'll pay the same for a greater feature set.

I'll add to this that it does look super clean though.

770? isn't that a downgrade?

ok looks like you ordered the wrong case and card

i got a gtx 1070 when i rma'd my 980

ATX has better cooling and the ITX has less useless ports I'll never use and looks cleaner. Actually OC3D proved the ITX to be better performing and better at OC. Less to break and runs cooler. I don't understand why everyone thinks you need a big board with a bunch of useless "greater features"

??? So you like to look at a bunch of empty ports?

...

Re-read that.

Man I feel sorry for you.. Falling for the MSI meme, good luck getting a proper RMA done and being satisfied. Waiting months to get your product back half working and treated like trash with dirt and improper packaging.

youtube.com/watch?v=V48KJEP1-sE is this you btw?

ayyyy

I'd get the msi gpu stripper pole to support your gpu, that shit has a solid bend

Not edited at all that is what it looks like

>I'm going to delid my 4690k and overclock the piss out of it
Hi user,
I have the same proc/mobo
I get 4.7 out of mine with just multiplier.
4.8GHz was pretty stable most of the time too..
I've never even increased the voltage.

How fast are you now and how fast do you want to go?

I messed up the placement of the cooler. At least my case has no window.

>I messed up the placement of the cooler
i don't see any misalignment, looks perfectly fine

the fancable tho

The logo is facing the wrong way. It's a square cooler at least, so placement doesn't really matter.

Moved my gpu down a slot think its looks cleaner will have to take pic when I get home, ignore the blue led from cooler master shit

Could have fooled me

It only made my boner harder
I love it even more

...

I did an RMA for an R9 390 it was really easy and fast not sure why everyone always sat their RMA's suck. maybe i'm just lucky who knows.

[email protected]

I'd love to hit 4.9 but I don't think I will, considering the voltage I'm already at.

does this affect performance? I could have read somewhere that secondary pcie slots don't have as many lanes and make them slower

I had a msi laptop and had it RMA'd several times. I would clean it up spotless, put it in its original packaging and box it in a nice shipping box with ton of peanuts.

Every fucking time I would get it back it would be filthy with dirt smudges and finger prints. The first RMA was for a screen so you think the screen would be clean. Nope a brand new fucking screen covered in dirt and finger prints. Every time they shipped it back it would be in a different box with no peanuts, and the last rma it was shipped back with just its original boxing so anyone who saw it could've just stole the fucking thing. Then I had a nice mesh sleeve for it that It came with to keep it protected inside from the cardboard scratching the glossy plastic and they lost that.

Its literally like a 5 man team working out of a shop in cali. The building's manager is henry and dealing with that fuck boy is a nightmare if he doesn't get his way because hes always right.

Now the second RMA was covered by them and I didn't have to pay for anything because they shipping my product to someone else the first RMA and I had suspected GPU failure shortly after. But even though it was a free RMA it was treated like crap.

Overall here in the US they are just shit to their customers after you purchase their product. Its like a dodge in the computer world.

This, idky people keep doing this. The first slot is x16 and the second is x8. The difference is minor, but why change the slots just to make it cleaner? If you aren't see a 5c- different in temp then don't do this.

What the hell are you doing that you need to delid and overclock your CPU? I was using a 2500k up until a year ago and I was able to play through most of The Witcher 3 at 2560x1440 maxed with just a slight overclock.

Just upgraded to a 7700k and AIO cooler

Put the fans on the other side pulling into the case, less dust build up on the rad.

The EVGA SC is so aesthetic to me. I love the plain white LED's being the only LED in my rig. Wish I could showcase it better but some kind of reflection or something has made the picture come out purple-ish blue.

>I love the plain white LED's being the only LED in my rig

I have 2 1070s, 1 1080ti and a 1060 from mining. They're all in the black now (paid off). Thinking about selling the 1070s and 1060 and just building a new rig. What are those going for, 400 per 1070 and 200 per 1060?

I love how msi looks, but hate how it words.
Z97 mobo, suddenly memory issues.
Then suddenly bios fucked, no post.
Msi told me fuck off, you are off warranty. A fucking motherboard doesnt have any solution for bios issues, no secondary bios.

Changed for Z170 Assrock. Man, assrock isnt as pretty as MSI, but much better. Better options, dual bioses, cheaper, more power phases.

>Also nice sagging faggot.

this is a better question for /sqt/ or /pcbg/ but
closer to 300 for 1060 and 500 for 1070
