ZTE Axon 7 6gb/128gb (preferred), or LeTV x829 6gb/128gb as I've seen these on sale for $250, or less in the past.

When did Qualcomm release a Snapdragon 825? Anyway, Axon 7 is probably your best option, that or a used OP3T

Does anyone know of a good guide on how to install lineageOS on a redmi note 4 ?
I know the official lineage rom is not out already but I want to try and install it.

UK here
Should i get an LG G6, Sony Xperia XZ or HTC 10 (not a fan of the U11)? any other recommendations? no samsungs plz.
also, money isn't an issue

6th for KFC phone

If you care about Android software updates, then either Pixel or hold out for Pixel 2

>tfw bought Pixel 2 weeks ago, and unironically really like it

I was playing with an xperia XZ premium yesterday and it was really nice, however if you're after a standard size I think the htc is what i'd go for.

Was considering the Redmi Note 4 Global. What's the best chinkstore to order it from?

It's real

I'd rather have the Pepsi phone though

If you're in Europe then Ibuygou.com, choose the custom duty insurance and you won't have to pay VAT.

the pepsi one actually looks pretty fucking great for $110, shame it can't be bought

It seems they don't have the global edition though.

Unlock bootloader
Flash a recovery rom
Download latest lineage
Place on sdcard or on phone
Wipe some stuffs, I forget which
Install zip from as card
Install gapps if needed
Reboot and you're done

>still no real information about the Nokia 7

Pls be a 5 inch device.

I want to buy Xiaomi 4.
I mostly use my phone for calling, maps, surfing, messengers and reading. I like long battery life.

Ok/not ok?

When will this cunt phone come out?

Fuck it looks so good, cant wait to get rid of the s7 edge

September or October most likely

>wants to get rid of the s7 edge
>barely a year old
>my phone is already 4 years old
What the heck is wrong with you people. Jews are very happy about you.

Some people can afford having nice things.

This triggers me hard. Corporations being in bed with each other is normal, but a shitty, unpalatable, bottom of the barrel fast food company and a mediocre chink phone company? This is a match made in the ninth fucking circle of Hell. What kind of mindless, brain dead, subhuman zombie would even touch this horrid excuse for a product?

I swear I will fly to China and personally kill every chink who buys this.

Moto G5. Mi5s if you wanna import.

>When did Qualcomm release a Snapdragon 825?

Never.
> Anyway, Axon 7 is probably your best option,
This will probably be what I'll get. The ugly zuk z2 pro is also under consideration. It's ugly, but cheap, and looks like it mostly works on both verizon/tmobile.

both of those are nearly 400 leafbux

Keep in mind Verizon only allows devices approved by them on their network so you'll need a Verizon phone to activate the SIM with before it'll work in non-approved phones.

fuck I can't unlock without the permission of xiaomi (which I have) but I need to way fucking 72 hours to unlock it
fuggg
well at least the phone works well

android
best camera
go

HTC U11, Galaxy S8, Google Pixel, LG G6

Can someone recommend me phones that (in descending priority):

>use in europe
>"easy" to unlock bootloader, root and restore stock firmware (don't care about custom ROMs really)
>2GB RAM (general responsiveness, I assume it has more to do with the CPU, but I don't know anything about smartphones)
>not huge (5' would be okay, I guess)
>decent battery life
>decent camera

Budget 150$ (will be buying 2nd hand though)

My current choice is an LG Nexus 5, but it doesn't tick off all of the requirements.

About to get a certified refurbished phone, what am I in for

Moto E4

Nokia 3

You won't find anything decent for $120. maybe G4 Play or Blu R1 HD.

Just checked and both of those seem to be new and I can't buy them in my country yet. I'm also having trouble finding information if it's possible to unlock their bootloaders, root them and flash back or even find stock firmware online.

I wouldn't care if the phone is older from a couple of years ago. Even better actually, since I don't want to get a new one, used phones are also okay in my case.

huawei phones are good though.

You can check the tutorial for the red meme note 3 pro as well on the official lineage website

Yeah but to unlock the phone I still need to use xiaomi's program and it makes me wait for 72 hours before I can unlock my shit
fucking chink man

Moto G5

Any opinions on the Xperia XA1?

It's not that bad of a process but yeah you'll have to wait. Who knows, maybe you'll learn to love it

how the fuck do you get rid of the google search bar on OmniROM
this shit shouldnt be so difficult but i cant find anything in the settings to get rid of it
i can disable it from the apps but its still there, mocking me in the homescreen, just unusable

no experience of that particular model but i think its a faggot move from sony to put camera features behind drm keys that are removed if you unlock the bootloader. sony cameras are nice but they turn into potatoes without the keys unless you do hax.

nvm i got it, fuck yes. i just held the homescreen until "wallpapers/widgets/themes" buttons came up and chose settings which had the option to turn it off.

Pros
-great build quality
-stock android 7.0 nougat rom, no bloat
-decent performance
-good camera for the price
-expandable storage
-USB-C, NFC, FM radio

Cons
-display is only 720p
-average battery life
-Mediatek SoC means no custom ROMs
-no fingerprint reader (this might be a pro for some)

I'd recommend it especially if you're after a midrange phone with a good camera. If camera isn't your main priority there's probably better phones available.

Wipe it down thouroughly with rubbing alcohol, because people are disgusting.

Especially since a lot of people watch porn on their phones

What's a good budget phone that isn't made by chink companies?

Motoral G5 has chinks calling the shots right? I don't want China to have that much overhead over my stuff.

Trying to find a phone around 4 inches, getting sick of carrying my Nexus 6 around with how unstable its been. Any advice would be appreciated.

As stated above, just something small, and preferably not slow or frustrating. I looked at the Galaxy J1 Prime (Usually not a fan of Samsung) that looked like it may fit the bill, but can't find much online about it.
>Budget
Up to $200

Also wouldn't mind using my old IPhone 4S I have stored away, if anyone knows how to upgrade it from an old IOS version to one that is unsigned so that I can jailbreak it.

Pic related, its the Samsung phone I was looking at.

Every smartphone is made in China

It's different if it's just manufactured there and if it's overlooked by a chinese company. I hope

Nokia 3, 5 or 6

what are the risks of staying with an older OS?

I was thinking about purchasing the high end phone of 2014 now for a good deal. I guess they're not supported solely for making people buy a newer smartphone, right? I mean specs wise why wouldn't a Galaxy S4 be able to handle the latest version of Android?

I'm not sure if acquiring that is gonna be so bad, sounds like FUD spread by shills who just want me to get conned into the yearly purchase scheme.

iPhone SE, Xperia X Compact, Galaxy A3 2017 are pretty much the only compact size phones worth considering. Everything else is either too old or super low budget tier. Either increase your budget or buy used.

youtube.com/watch?v=DtmGMcMeEJE
Obviously pixel

Sorry fellow leaf lad but dont think you're gonna get that or really anything decent for under $150 except maybe a pretty old flagship, better get one with removable battery if you do that. Galaxy S of some sort might be your best bet if you can stand samsungs

they're made by chinks too. nokia just borrows the license to them.

everything is fucking made by chinks, deal with it.

>HMD Global
>chinks

But Nokia (HMD Global) has control over the design, their phones are just as much chink as Apple (well actually less as the Nokia's arent even made in China, but India and Taiwan.

taiwan is just mini china and pajeets are poo chinks so i dont see how that makes it any better

Not him but I've been loooking at the Nokia 6 for the build quality and the fast updates but isn't the 430 kinda weak for the price?

It's not that much weaker than the SD625 in a Moto G5+, the SD430 scores about 44k in Antutu and SD625 ~63k. I don't think you'd notice that much of a difference outside games. Of course if performance matter to you more than fast updates then you're probably better off with another phone.

Redmi 4a, brand new ones are 150€

Is it just my imagination or are the displays of I phones more fragile? I see so many iPhones with a broken display glass each day and almost no android phones (except for Samsung galaxy phones).

150€? Try 80€
kimovil.com/en/where-to-buy-xiaomi-redmi-4a-global-32gb

What do you guys think of the Moto Z Play? Is it worth getting now? I've been eyeballing the Nokia 6 but I noticed that the Moto Z Play isn't much more expensive.
Also, does anyone know if it's going to get Android O?

I'd rather have build quality and fast update which what I liked about Motorola before the Lenovo take over, plus I don't play much game except the occasional weebshit which barely runs on my OG moto G.

Fuck why is it so hard to have android phones with updates?

I want an XBOX HUEG phone:
LG V20 or the Huawei Mate 9
(P10 looks good but is too damn expensive for not being that much different than the Mate 9)

This is why planned obsolescence and the phasing out of removable batteries are a thing. Literally $800 disposable fashion accessories because of people like this.

It's so fucking frustrating and upsetting having to live under the tyranny of the autistic shit taste of normies. Because of them I simply can't have nice things. Even if I'm willing to pay top dollar for them because even the expensive things are glass-covered shit now.

Mi Max 2

Its good. Amazing battery life and nice AMOLED screen. Motomods are also pretty nice. Camera isn't anything special.
Android O hasn't been confirmed yet but I'd think it's more likely than not that it'll receive it (but knowing Lenovo they'll take ages releasing the update)

No I think he wants a good phone

Yeah that's the main thing that I like about the Nokia 6, the frequent updates. That's and the incredible build quality.
Which do you think is a better choice, the Amazon Nokia 6 ($180) or the Moto Z Play at around $230-$300 (depending on where I get it)

Also since Lenovo bought Motorola, they've became very shitty with update especially with the G series. IMO if you prioritize updates, avoid the Z Play

I gotcha. Thanks a lot, man.

I'm not sure you can blame that on the masses. People used to love having durable things. Across industries management types are cutting corners and offering cheapness and convenience that turn out to be anything but.

Do I really need more than 2GB of RAM? I'm going back and forth between a 2GB and 4GB G5+. I don't game or use social media apps on my phone. I basically use Clover, Firefox, Maps, Camera, Blockfolio, Messaging, Lastpass, Tapatalk, and a few banking apps. I've never seen my "average memory use" exceed 1.5GB.

Guys is it worth to get a Huawei P10 for 259 euros?
Brand new from store.

do we know what displaysize the nokia 7 / 8 will have?

Absolutely. How tf is it so cheap?

What is the cheapest 300ppi+ phone?
I fell for the retina meme and now i hate my own phone

>Pixel 2 XL
Oh look, another generic oversized phone with specs I have no use for + built in botnet.

Seriously though. If you buy into this shit you're no better than women with jewelry.

Posting this from a Nexus 4 with 7.1.2, and will continue until it's physically unusable.

What store is that? You can usually only get the P10 lite for that price.

Is Huawei a chink meme?

Kinda envious, my xperia zr doesn't have official los anymore and it's slowly falling apart. Newer nexuslike phones are so fucking big..

It's some deal a store has for students.

Unknown. Supposedly there's going to be a 7, 8, and 9. For awhile the speculation was it was just 7 and 8. Also there may be a Nokia 2.

>cheapest
gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_625472.html

Why does my app drawer look like thus? Im running lineage OS

Wew I didn't realize 720p @ 4.7" was 300+ ppi already.

So I guess my question is moot

>he doesn't use Nova

I still have Redmi Note 1 that Sup Forums recommended years ago. I am very thankful to Sup Forums ... good phone for me when I was a poorfag ... I like it but I have more money now and could afford something better... I'm looking for a phone that

- should be as big as possible (I have huge hands)

- doesn't have "round corners" (not like Samsung-design... more sony xperia style or some HTC... I also like HTC One design)

- I don't care about camera quality

- battery quality is not super important,... as long as it lasts 1 day with normal use it's ok

- very important: no gay software like chinese or anything at all... must be as close to Stock Android as possible

- extra security features welcome (maybe fingerprint? not sure if that is a good feature?)

- support for NFC a plus

I will buy directly without a monthly plan

---

any recommendation?

thank you for any idiea, I haven't looked at phones for years and I'm looking at my opptions now

currently looking at LG v20 and Honor 8

Hey guys I just picked up the G5+ based on recommendations here. It seems like a nice phone overall except for one MAJOR issue.

>no notification LED

WTF? How the fuck am I supposed to tell if I've missed a notification when my phone is sitting on the table or on my desk? Why does no one ever mention this in reviews?

OH GOD sorry for the Reddit spacing guys
I kind of revealed my true Rebbit identity there :(

Fucking this.

The best we can do is find a good, durable phone and stick with that until it dies. Praise be to lineage OS developers and OEM batteries off eBay

Let's assume the LG Q6+ (the 4GB version) comes out in the €300 ballpark: with the street price of the G6 at €400, what will be better buying?

what's your budget?

sounds like you like aesthetics:

Sony Xperia XZ Premium
Nokia 9 (not out yet)
Pixel 2 (not out yet)

Those are the boxy phones I can think of with non-chink software. But you'll pay for the looks.

This is why iOS is superior
