bitcoin has zero privacy and anonymity, the blockchain is completely open for inspection. The network has also gotten massively centralized since only large-scale ASIC miners with cheap-to-free electricity can profitably mine. Both of those completely undermine the goal of having a currency that a government can't manipulate for its own ends.
Whatever coin takes over, it shouldn't be bitcoin.

It's literally just a digital version of silver and gold. In a collapsed society, neither of these will be of any value to the vast majority of people looking to barter. If you manage to survive the collapse, however, these things will retain their value. This means that gold, silver, and bitcoin should be the last thing you invest in, rather than the first.
Because the internet and all your devices will be under total government control in a short while so your currency will just be taken are "taxed" away from you.

That's not how it works. Paper currency is worth nothing if economy collapses. Gold and silver will always be in demand because of rich people and electronics
