So I'm the user who asked around for chink laser advice a few weeks back. I bought this for ~4$ off AliExpress without the charger and battery which I already had. Here's a little review for other anons who may be interested in getting a laser from china.
I've had a true 5mW laser before and when I compare them, I'd say this one is 10-15mW which is not a big difference but the dot is considerably brighter. I've asked the seller what's the power of this laser, but he didn't respond nor does it say in listing's description.
So before anyone asks, yes it's a burning laser. When you focus the lens like in the last picture, you can burn black fabric and plastic. Anything less than pitch black colour? Won't happen. On a cloudy day in a slightly dim room you can clearly see the beam and during the night, it's basically an infinite, very thin lightsaber. The beam, unfortunately, seems to increase in size quite a bit after a few dozen meters even though when you point it towards the sky, it looks perfectly focused. I could post some night shots if anyone is interested. It also comes with a pair of keys which are used to turn it on. I find it particularly cool because it won't get accidentally turned on in your pocket or bag.
My unit did came a bit fucked, though. The lens wasn't perfectly aligned inside the laser and I had a dim spot below the dot so I ripped the lens off, aligned it and glued it back. You can align the lens by moving it until the dot is right above the laser. If the dot changes direction, the lens isn't aligned well. Just be careful if you plan to move it since the lens is a small, plastic piece inside the laser head (which you can unscrew easly) and if it gets scratched, you're fucked for good.
For 4$, I'm happy with it. Any other anons with lasers?

You don't lock the battery, the lock is just a little switch which, when locked, prevents the laser diode from getting power from the battery.

Dont buy one, or at least dont buy a portable vape. I bought a flowemate about 2 years ago for $80 and while it is a nice change (totally different effects) it isnt worth it. The portable ones waste a lot of weed because the vapor can just dissapate. If you insist on getting one get a table model that keeps the vapor trapped
