Year 2023 we have 128 Terabyte micro sd cards

year 2023 we have 128 Terabyte micro sd cards.

and also hello worlds that take 128gb because of the latest meme frameworks while the americucks will go to jail for going over their built-in microsd transfer data caps (tm)

Not really. From 2007 to 2012 we've done leaps and bounds in terms of technological progress. But not so much from 2012 to 2017 and it will definitely be less from 2017 to 2023.

Kek

>americucks
why do you care about us so much? we don't think about you at all.

>laptops still 1366x768

Sigmoid curve.

This, absolutely disgusting

...

...

In 2023 Intels octo-core processors will hit 4.9 Ghz

>still 35cm^2 hdd in pc
i'm not the only thinking it's retarded?

yeah, in fact you don't think at all too often

>we don't think about you at all.

>every Sup Forums thread where US has a edge
>hurr yuropoors

>every /vr/ thread
>hurr PALfags

>he thinks technology will continue to progress forever
Hate to burst your bubble but we're coming up on a plateau.

Only the absolute shittiest of laptops tho. You can even pick up 1080p chromebooks for cheap.

because america is the first country that comes to mind when talking about cucking themselves with data caps, going to jail for downloading torrents, killing net neutrality, etc

This picture is bullshit though.

And I bet americucks will defend the transfer caps as well like I often see they do with data caps on internet.

yeah i mean the micro sd card in my switch is 200GB not just 128GB.

What? No, intel will be out of business.

There's nothing wrong with that resolution. It's great for small screensizes on mobile devices used primarily for web browsing

Best resolution for 14 inch laptops.

>botnetbooks

>2023
>thinking there will be any physical media left

All your data will be hosted on the servers of your goverment

Yeah, I wish my laptop display was 4k so it would cut my battery life in half and make things too small to be readable

And we still got nothing to store on it :^)
>inb4 4k videos
when was the last time you used your camera, user?

when i was fucking my wife last night :^)

i LIKE 768p because 1024x768 is good for playing muh old gaymen and emulators :^)

Is that the same finger?

>HDD prices are almost the same for 5 years now

MUH FLOODS

Killing NN is a good thing, though.

its true. laptops up to 16 inch going over 1080p us just stupid, unless we invent some super batteries.

we have really shit batteries right now.

explain your position

Companies should pay for what they use, otherwise low average bandwidth/user companies effectively are forced to subsidize high bandwidth/user ones. This is why it's mainly streaming sites like Netflix and multimedia sites like kikebook that lobby for Net Neutrality. The point is often raised that without Net Neutrality, ISPs could engage in bad practices like throttling sites at whim. Then there's the counterpoint that consumers should just switch ISPs and then a counter counterpoint that that's not practical at least in America due to local monopolies. My counter counter counterpoint to that is that I agree- the local monopolies (supported by the government) are bullshit, but that means that you should fight against your local government and the ISPs cucking you, not fight for Net Neutrality, which slightly punishes the ISPs by limiting them a bit, but ultimately enures their continued monopoly.

You mean McJail(TM)

YOU are they one paying for the bandwidth though.

If I pay for 30 mbit/s of bandwidth, then I expect to be able to stream video at 30 mbit/s, because that's what I pay for.

It makes it harder for you to compete with others. You are not given equal opportunity(which is an important part of a healthy capitalist system).
Let's say user wants to make a site and richfag wants to make a site that both do the same thing. The richfag does a shittier job and creates a shit site. And the user happens to be one of the smart people in this site and does an awesome job. Under the new system user will lose no matter how hard he works even though he does not deserve to lose. They are not playing on an equal playing field .
This does mean smaller companies will just give up and not even bother. Leaving only the top dog company to essentially do whatever the hell it wants. Get lazy and create a monopoly , fuck over the consumers and not give a shit about anything that happens.
Gee this reminds me of goverment companies in communist countries that were so lazy to do anything and resulted in zero progress. Why would you work hard to please anyone if everyone is forced to use you anyway.

Shit meant

Same thing applies. Why should low average bandwidth users have to subsidize high average bandwidth users? If all I do is shitpost on Sup Forums but I still want fast speed, I don't want to pay less for a slower plan, but I don't want to pay the same as someone who streams 20 episodes of naruto on the daily when they're costing the ISP more.

In 2006 i bought a 2GB micro SD card.

Pic is not accurate. Sorry.

Then get a new ISP that doesn't have policies that make it difficult for companies using it to compete.

LOL
America invented internet, our country is huge, if your meme small country can afford fast internet its because you were building it from the scratch with fiber.

America is a first world country, as we all know fiber is made of... plastic so it pricey in a.d 2017!

kek

Better than having a much of sandniggers being imported and killing our nations and our people

who the fuck needs that much storage for personal use and for what purpose

i have a 1tb HDD and i couldn't fill it up even if i tried

>get a new ISP
>Oh, what's that? You only get one or if lucky two choices in ISP for your home, and they both do the same thing because they corroborate? That's too bad!

you don't even need 128gb micro sd card though

Stop downloading YIFY rips

this.

I filled up my 2TB HDD with Steam games because I don't want to wait to install something if I get the whim.

I actually need a 4 now...

You will when your phone has a 12 gigapixel camera in it.

Because 1366x768 and 4096x2160 are the only two options.

>using the smiley with a caret nose

>this level of idiocy
enjoy voting against yourself and paying extra to browse Sup Forums anyway (assuming your ISP even gives you the option to browse Sup Forums at all)

If only we could do the same for batteries

Your ISP (after you mongoloids get rid of NN) is free to arbitrarily charge you extra for websites they deem as extra services, they can outright block any traffic they don't want you to see, and can fence you into their own services by not supporting competitors products.

Oh, you like Sup Forums do you? Well, we dont support that traffic (due to not being legally required to anymore). Why not try out comcastChan, it comes free with your plan, and we only have 3 20 seconds popup adverts before your page loads! Enjoy.

ANYBODY against NN is either completely unaware of what its about, or a shill for ISP's public relations, and either way they should be thoroughly fucked off.

This, we can't keep up with Moore's law for long

My battery life goes on forever, wattlet

That's weird, when that's been the UK's shtick for years.

I guess summer doesn't remember the watersports debacle.

>you should fight against your local government and the ISPs cucking you, not fight for Net Neutrality, which slightly punishes the ISPs by limiting them a bit, but ultimately enures their continued monopoly.
net neutrality doesn't ensure continued monopoly. you're framing this as an either/or but it's not. people can do both.

Even when trying to act superior the eurocuck still won't stop talking about america. We truly are the greatest country in the world.

>parts of america with >25% illiteracy rate
>people paying hundreds of thousands of dollars for healthcare
>unbelievable number of firearm murders each year

>cut in half
It would be closer to 1/3. 4k is shit.

>niggers
>niggers
>niggers

>one side has Jewgle, Goybook, Amazon, and Leddit
>one side has Comcast, Time Warner, ATT, etc
I want to say that I'm FOR net neutrality, but looking at my "allies" makes me feel like I'm missing some things and that supporting NN is the bad choice.

>implying we won't store information in DNA in 2023

Explain your "logic" on this one.

>People are against net neutrality because muh free market
Since when does free market mean freedom to fuck you over?

that's a practical way to store things you don't want other people to see, just flash the toilet and the evidence is gone forever

people support crony capitalism under the guise of "free market".
it really depends on whether you believe a truly *free* market has regulation to stop companies from forming monopolies and using influence to squash fair competition

i don't know how a private citizen (as opposed to a CEO) could possibly be against net neutrality, but america is a hell of a drug i guess

the "side" that has the first 4 you mentioned also has 40+ ISPs that aren't part of the rapidly shrinking monopolistic cabal

responds to an argument with >nigger nigger nigger
american education everyone

desu phone cameras have plenty of megapixels already. what they really need are better lenses or decent focus software. doesn't matter how many megapixels an out of focus image is.

Money is god in America. Evangelical Christianity is literally a fat cat cult that pretends to be a religion.

no

You're thinking of TV evangelicals who want to help you, but only if you buy their book.

>year 2033
>European militia forces rediscover iron forging and replace their bronze shields before advancing on the shattered remains of Londonistan

the purpose of higher resolutions is just not looking like shit on huge screens
there's literally not a single reason for large resolution in a small screen

old people using old applications prefer 1366x768

Daily reminder that it's literally faster to have a carrier pigeon deliver one 128GB microSD card filled with data between cities on the East Coast, plug that card in, and copy data over than it is to download the same amount of data over a 1Gbps fiber connection

>year 2023 we have 128 Terabyte micro sd cards.

Not unless we manage to retire silicon first. We are already starting to hit hard caps in how small it can be made, and there's no more shrinking after 5-7nm.

Without smaller nodes, you can't really make memory any more dense.

>we don't think about you at all.

You don't think about anything at all either, which is the problem.

Quantum Physics could let us store way more info that goes up to Terabytes
They might be the last frontier for storage.

I fomd this unbeliveable to this day.
Oh and also the cheapesr, shittest TN they can find, that thing's got like 2° viewing angle

thinking teenagers today would learn any of this shit. we are going to be stuck in tech for alooong time -m,

Fuck this, they couldnt even adopt 1600x900

Less than ten years 1024 times the memory.

>Not having your microsd in your dap filled with DSD256 files

That doesn't make sense. Bandwidth means the maximum rate at which data can be transferred on your plan. The idea that more data (and not more data/s) should be paid more for is a false equivalency in which each mb of data is equated to physical matter and thus logically demands more payment. Rather, view your internet plan as a pipe to your house. The pipe exists whether or not water flows through it, and since your water is merely taking a convoluted route to someone else's house, the water itself costs NOTHING. Only the potential transferrance of the water costs money, because the ISP has to monitor, build, maintain and direct the pipe. You also have to pay more for a pipe twice as large, although whatever traffic goes through it is that much faster. Therefore, whether I keep my pipe filled with water or you keep yours empty, if we want the same size pipe, we logically pay the same price.

Storage is already cheap and is rarely the bottleneck. And as pointed out, it's pointless to introduce terabytes of storage to consumer techs without a better internet (both tech and infrastructure-wise) to effectively transfer such large amounts of data.

1PB hard drives when?

not to mention:
>TN
>200:1 contrast ratio
>10 degree viewing angle before colors invert into negatives
>0.1% sRGB coverage

NN is 100% in favor of the individual consumer. My theory as to why the big companies outside telecom support it boils down to ad revenue. As it is, they control nearly all of the consumer data sold to advertisers. If NN gets killed, that wouldn't be the case anymore. I don't like Google and the likes selling my info any more than Big Red, at least I have more choice when it comes to Google and can take measures to block their collection of my data. It really is the lesser of two evils.

this. it's all about pixel pitch.

not joking my friends dad worked for some company and he had a petabyte usb

>If I pay for 30 mbit/s of bandwidth, then I expect to be able to stream video at 30 mbit/s, because that's what I pay for.

No, you pay for a line that is capable up to 30 mbit/s, and has a guaranteed minimum of 1mbit/s.

Read the fucking contract.

I could fill up 2tb just by going through my bookmarks at hdbits.

If I was downloading full blurays or remixes at a minimum, I could fill up 10tb in a week easy.

Somebody save this picture and repost it in 2023

Better verison

I have met literally 0 persons who defend caps
