I have been apart of the chrome bot-net for too long and I am therefore trying to pick a new browser. However, I am uncertain as to which one. Thinking about firefox-forks. Moreover, I am prioritizing the following:
>security
>privacy
>speed
>add-on support
What is the best browser, Sup Forums?
opera
chromium/iridium
Why not Vivaldi?
inox
Closed source
Lynx
Are you fucking blind?
vivaldi.com
Chrome flags that site as a virus. Fuck you.
Trying this hard.
Firefox nightly
...
Unironically Chromium browser. You can get code modifications to ungoogle it from GitHub, and since Chromium is open source, we can know for certain that the fixes remove all of Google's telemetry features.
SJWfox esr or nightly
Chromium
I've recently switched to Iridium. I like it a lot. It's quick, doesn't take up a lot of system resources and just generally works
>macOS X
Safari
>Windows
Firefox for customizability, Chrome for those "nothing to hide" faggots that care about speed and usability, Opera if you're poor
>Linux
Firefox or Nightly (maybe GNUIceCat - a decent FF fork), or Chromium stable build - if you enjoy speed and that it just werkz
>Android
Brave (best hands down), Firefox if you're an autist ricefag & need the extra placebo privacy (if you're willing to sacrifice significant speed and fluidity, that is.)

>Firefox
Nice Google botnet.
reddit.com
bassforte95 sums it up quite nicely why Vivaldi isn't *completely* open source
>Firefox
>Google botnet
Are you retarded?
>using firefox after it was revealed that it's part of the google botnet
brainlets
Ungoogled-Chromium, all the good parts and none of the bad stuff
If that still doesn't float your boat go for Icecat
Chrome is malware.
Firefox is the only option.
See
Are you, you arrogant dumbass? Or just living under a rock?
Read you retard. Just turn it off if you don't like it.
>have to use a hacky solution to disable an entire feature to prevent tracking
>can't just use the built-in anti-tracking features
>mozilla still claims that firefox is privacy-oriented
kys mozilla shill
You are clearly a Mozilla shill. Fucking kill yourself.
Only a shill would defend Mozilla's anti-privacy tactics.
IceCat
Firefox without the shit
is there any unbloated chromium forks i used to use cent browser but that became shitly bloated. Opera is chinese bot net now and vilvadi is chinese aswell, irdium is german botnet/ fbi bait so i dont know any safe forks left.
kys
Google shills are triggered
Why would Google shills be trying to get people to jump ship from a browser because it uses Google Analytics?
Are you genuinely retarded?
come on anyone
>>security
>>privacy
>>speed
>>add-on support
A stripped clone of Chromium like Debian's Chromium, Inox, Iridium or (probably the best) Ungoogled Chromium.
german botnet browser some guy got arrested for using it in the wrong ways
They are all shit.
You really didn't think this one out.
Lynx is the only browser that isn't shit.
inox or ungoogled chromium
does inox offer the chrome store
HAHA YEAH GUYS IT DOENS'T MATTER IF FIREFOX COMES WITH GOOGLE BOTNET BECAUSE IT CAN BE DISABLED HAHA YEAH YOU JUST HAVE TO GO TO ABOUT:CONFIG AND CHANGE THIS OBSCURE VALUE THAT ONLY 0.000001% OF THE USERS KNOW ABOUT HAHA YEAH IT'S THAT EASY
Firejailed firefox with these addons + 4chanX and anti-adblock killer scripts for greasemonkey
>implying you can disable Chrome's botnet
You can add extensions using the inoxunpack script if that's what you're asking. Adds maybe 10s to adding them vs regular chrome.
I think you need Arch to use Inox, though.
Guide my autism. How do I ungoogle the goopelserch?
muh dick
best way to browse shit.compatible with shitty threads and you're mum's sas
If you take modern usage into account (so shit like supporting nonfree video codecs and a million addons) your choices are pretty limited, but if you actually just want a good browser, you've got a lot of options. Qutebrowser seems pretty good.
open source literally doesn't matter
the real question: is it free software?
Not him, but I have a friend who runs 'ungoogled-chromium'. That is probably what you want.
IceCat.
Vivaldi comes with an EULA.
No.
Slimjet 64bit.
Its already ungoogled and comes with loads more security and privacy features than ungoogled chromium. If you use a VPN, not being able to disable webrtc on ungoogled chromium will make your VPN useless. Slimjet lets you disable it. And html5 canvas detection, among other things.
>/plebbit/
So this is the power of freetards??
>Ad hominem
Typical Sup Forums for you.
Ok so Firefox' "Get Add-ons" page uses Google Analytics... That will only affect me if i actually browse that website though, right? Which i haven't in months.
It's not like Firefox the browser itself is part of the botnet.
I only use Netscape Navigator. Most sites (including this one) don't work but whatever. The internet is shit.
Muh niggas
PaleMoon Browser.
It's a fork of Firefox that focuses on code efficiency and security. it is pretty much user-driven in it's direction. It's codebase is different enough that it's not 100% FF plugin compatible but had good alterntive builds of plugins. Ublock Origin, EncryptedWeb, and FoxyProxy work great.
This.
Enjoying your malware?
>safari
please explain
Google Chrome
This guy get it.
ungoogled chromium with ublock origin Sup Forums-x umatrix and duck duck go
Running window 7 sp1 with no updates and a lot of free ware
Only use Windows because muh gaymes and most open source software is just as shit as windows
how does this compare with Ice Weasel?
it used to be called IceWeasel, same project

Waterfox and Chromium
i know nothing but i'm pretty sure iridium is what you're looking for
Use all of them.
