packet tracer

YOU KNOW YOU PLAYED IT

>not FlightGear

...

Yes, in middle school

...

What is it?

a falling sand sim. Was a staple of early 2000s free flash game sites.

Can't believe i paid $15 for this

Yea, in elementary school

You literally fell for the meme

Underage banned

>That falling sand game
My nigga

OP - Garry's Mod

>Garry's Mod
>simulator
What?

>Sup Forums used to talk about this game all the time

Dan Ball

Autism simulator.

Ride ya dick simulator

How is Garry's mod a simulator?

It simulates autism

COMSOL multiphysics is the shit

C-SAFE Uintah:
uintah.utah.edu/

It's a set of simulation tools for simulating fluid flow, deformation, combustion, explosions, and more. You could simulate house fires with it, but it takes so much computational power that if you're not careful it can cause one.

It's also free as in freedom like any scientific simulators worth using

LAMMPS, the only molecular dynamics simulator you'll ever need:
lammps.sandia.gov/

Ever wonder what supercomputers actually do? Well most of what they do is molecular dynamics and most of them use LAMMPS to do this.

LAMMPS, developed using your tax dollars to keep our nukes working so you know it's the good stuff.

It's also free as in freedom

Porn simulator?

not PARTICLEularly

Expression 2, Wiremod, physics stuff
pretty great for computer science stuff and maybe some classical mechanics

not so much anything else

This. Wish I had more time to play with it at my summer internship

Is there any free software like this?

What's the best circuit sim?

IBM SPSS AMOS.
IBM SPSS Statistics.

Those are the serious answers.
SCI Institute seems to have even more cool shit @ sci.utah.edu/software.html

>PORN
>POwdeR's Neat
You can all it that.

Goat Simulator

I haven't.

It ran on Java

>not farming simulator 17

god I fucking hate the KDE UI, everything is so needlessly large and obnoxiously wasting space

Abaqus

I'm using the gEDA/gaf suite; usually just gschem+gnetlist+ngspice. But maybe you would prefer a more integrated approach such as with Qucs or LTspice.

Some of my first projects were creating Expression 2s in Garry's Mod. That game was so much fun to piss people off in.

Space Engine

Dwarf Fortress is unironically a nice simulator for a medieval fantasy world

Age of Empires

Age of War

X-Plane 11

Orbiter 2016

>hat game was so much fun to piss people off in.
Thats literally its only purpose now. So many 12 year olds.

how to make solidworks not run like shit?

Man get The Powder Game. Better than that, same principle, more shit

can someone explain to me how the controls of this game work?
is it a computer that adjusts everything?

there is manual book in the docs
watch this dude's into series to orbiter
youtube.com/watch?v=L-zaubu3RgU&list=PLPu_SHPaJzs4e1NfhY8jxPGgk5S4duEql

I'm surprised noone reacted to this. Packet Tracer is annoying, but for learning how networks work it does the job well enough. And if you actually get something to work it can be quite fun.
I still curse it everytime I have to use it, though

I would go with LTspice, I typically use kicad for schematic and layout though.

any cute girl life simulators

Get a better computer or pirate an older version of solidworks

...

windows 10

if flight simulators belong here then so does orbiter
idiot

Realflow
Blender can do some cool physics
OpenFoam

you can make everything smaller, by default everything looks horribly big to me too but i force the fonts dpi to be lower, looks much better

That webm is not orbiter

>DeltaEC
In does stimulations for designing thermoacoustic generators. It was technology that was abandoned in favor of gas when we were trying to find a good energy source. It generates energy from temperature differentials (from the progress of hot moving to could).

>LTspice
How is this compared to orcad Pspice?

What's the difference between a thermoacoustic generator and a normal heat engine? What makes than acoustic, vs say a Stirling engine + electromagnetic generator?

>mentions orbiter
>posts kerbal space program webm
hmmm

noice

To be honest, I haven't used it a ton, but for basic simulations (turn-on stability, freq sweeps) it's fine. It's maintained by LT, so it actually has some work put into it.

The plotting interface isn't that different from using Orcad.

"Neat" simulation, not "NEET" simulation, user.

I always wanted to see how the mushroom clouds of MIRVs in close proximity would interact with each other

>Age of War
>Age of War theme music
God damnit user. Now i'm playing this shit again

>You could simulate house fires with it
why would I need to simulate, I already own an Intel cpu

OpenFOAM. you failed should love it because it's free it has no UI and doesn't run on Windows.

Does anyone know a good way to get started in smoothed particle hydrodynamics?

If you think about that game was kind of a precursor to minecraft

Both originally ran in a browser on Java and had different elements and shit
