Install a distro and ducking use it? Distro hoping is for kids who don't do work.
Distro is irrelevant, it's all the same shit at the end of the day.
Use Slackware like a man.

Windows 7.

get a fucking job, autist.

Ignore the autists trying to meme you into some special snowflake fork of the mainline distros. It's all linux at the end of the day.

Focus on getting actual work done instead of fucking about with computer.

stopped distrohopping when I got to arch because of how easy and straightforward package management is.

Though I plan to switch to openrc hardened gentoo when I better understand the process of configuring the kernel.

Learn to install and compile your shit for yourself

At least wait for your last thread to die before reposting this garbage faggot.

installing arch. last time I installed an os on my main machine was november 2013

I found an OS I like

>How do you stop yourself from distro hopping?
buy a macbook pro

you grow up and use whatever makes you happy + Xfce.

>but what about x DE?
NO MOTHERFUCKER. Xfce.

do actual work on my computer?

Virtual machines + enough HD space

I went from Windows to Ubuntu to Debian, then I was forced to start using Fedora for work. I think I've warmed up to it and I'll continue to use it forever.

>How do you stop yourself from distro hopping?

I have do all kinds of things on my computers from entertainment to work. When you are busy doing shit (no matter if just listen to music or working with ten spreadsheets at once) you don't feel the need to entertain yourself with installing a distro for just the sake of installing a distro.

What kibd of dog is that?

Get a full time job in IT.

that;s a weird looking duck.

Install Gentoo.

take your autism medication

I hopped around until I got to Debian and found it just worked so I stuck with it

by tryiing distros in VM's and realizing that nothing is better than Linux Mint, realizing that essentially every Linux distro except Ubuntu is incomplete

Realize Linux is shit a cluster fuck a failed abortion and just avoid

This

Have need for a computer. Make it a means to an end, not an end itself.

just accept the shit

try to not be a brainlet an these

Just don't distro hop and you're fine.

You eventually just grow out of it, especially if you need Linux for work.

You no longer have time to tinker with shit as a hobby when it becomes your means of making money, then you just need shit to work.

Start working on a real project.
Maybe, understand that you're just wasting your time and it pointless
