I'm looking to break free of the Google botnet and I'm embarrassed it took me this long to realize what I'm doing. Apparently I'm too dumb to install Chromium on my Mac and Windows machines. What are some good chrome alternatives for Mac and Windows? I looked around on the web and found Brave and Vivaldi, but I wanted your Sup Forumsuys' opinion on this subject matter. Thanks.
Chrome Alternatives
Other urls found in this thread:
startpage.com
iridiumbrowser.de
github.com
twitter.com
I don't know where else to go at this point. Each alternative has serious privacy issues.
>But DDG is the best
The founder is sketchy as fuck.
literally vivaldi
Yeah, I'll need to switch over to startpage.com
Thanks for reminding me
Can you elaborate how the founder is sketchy, I don't see anything from a cursory online search. Thanks.
Just use Waterfox you massive faggot, blink is dog shit.
Or just use Brave fuck.
searx
startpage
I've seen no evidence DDG is not to be trusted aside from
>HE'S A FUCKING KIKE!!!!!
Just fucking use DDG, everything else is slow dog shit.
Here you go pham:
iridiumbrowser.de
>iridiumbrowser.de
stop shilling this shit, just as bad as the ungoogled-chromium meme
>Mac and Windows
There is your first problem
Thats 1 good point to stay away from DDG and startpage is great
Its referring to Chromium if you didnt notice
At what point does it say
>but Iridium itself doesn't call home to google
I'll wait.
Thanks, installed both Waterfox and Iridium, will give it a shot.
Fuck Iridium, use Brave if you must use a shitty blink based browser.
Yes, I will be trying out Brave and Vivaldi as well.
You know, all these browser wars are starting to remind me of the mid-to-late 2000s with the advent of Mozilla Firebird and such.
>I want to get away from the botnet
>still runs windows
>has android
>has facebook
>uses gmail
>uses google.com
There's no escaping the botnet without going full retard, user.
it is explained poorly there
but here is a more detailed list of change
github.com
Firefox
Ok, I was wrong. Still, I just don't trust any Blink browsers. I think Firefox and its derivatives are superior for the privacy minded as its been the most well audited and an official Stallman derivative exists (Icecat).
You're not wrong on that, I think it's reasonable to avoid Blink.
Pale Moon is pretty good, based on old firefox and works fine.
I've been using it for a long time now and its crashed less and seems faster than chrome.
