So I got my gf a Moron G4S play about a year ago. It suddenly started discharging quite quickly, one night it went from 80+ to 40 without use at all. Of course I told her to turn off WiFi before sleep because she gets notifications from pinterest and shit. However the screen battery usage suddenly started being quite high, and it's not the always on moto display either. It used to be below 19% most of time rarely going above that but it's 20+% now. Any idea what's causing it?

However, this curved screen is a bit of a bitch to protect. I've always been very strong on Otterbox cases, but now I need to couple an otterbox with a glass adhesive screen protector that, within a month of ownership, already routinely pops off and is cracked.

I'm on a S6 edge and want to give Apple a try (7 Plus). Still a bit undecided whether I should go for 32 or 128 GB. I'm not into mobile games, I don't need a lot of apps (~12 or so), no streaming, no videos/movies. Music is only used for ringtones or notifications. Photos will be uploaded to clouds or PC once in a while. 32 GB worked fine for me so far. The update to iOS 11 will take up a lot of space I guess, so what would you do?

For months I couldn't get my phone to reliably receive WhatsApp notifications. For whatever reason, WhatsApp service just kept silently dying. (no, of course it's not battery optimized) Now, I've finally concocted a solution that is as elegant as Android itself.
I set a Tasker profile to trigger an action at every 2 minutes. That action runs the following command (as root): am startservice com.whatsapp/.messaging.MessageService
