Sup Sup Forums. I have an issue with a Toshiba Satellite S55 series that I'm not sure how to get around. My computer is locked with a bios password and I don't know what the password is. Does anyone know how to bypass this or code through it?

Go to duckduckgo (not jewgle) and search: "laptop model" reset CMOS.
OR
Remove bottom panel.
Look for a watch battery (this is your CMOS). Remove it for a few minutes.
If not present there may be button to press... Press it.
If neither look for where it says something like "CMOS reset. The closest capacitor looking thing is your jumper. hold a screw driver on the jumper for 10 secs.

I already tried removing the CMOS battery and nothing is changing the bios password status. The PC isn't stolen, I just have no idea where it came from. I'm trying to see whose it is so I can give it back to them.
