Barbarians not being killed off and being integrated

ask /his

Germans killed Europe

/his/ is a meme board not too far from Sup Forums, unfortunately.

You once had an empire too, you should know.
With time this world domination thing becomes boring, it's better to devote yourself to gay sex and good food.

>mfw Caesar killed one million barbarian Gauls

Germanic barbarians

I fucking love Varg.

dumb vargposter

>Thats what he sees when someone is not opening the door by himself

>Germans fucked everything up by being barbarians
>Rome fucked up by trying to promote multiculturalism.
History really fucking does repeat itself.

Turning to feudalism combined with massive invasions. Also Empire has not really fallen, it was slow and gradual transition. People were sure they live in a Roman Empire until 1000s. First empire economy had an era of turbulence with transition to feudalism. Second Empire was fighting invasions of barbarian chiefs. Regions of Empire started seceding from it on an ethnic basis creating vassal relationships of feudalism. Empire let some barbarians settle and lasted for some time with this because Goths gave new recruits and became romanised very quickly but Atills invasion finally crushed the centralized power of Empire and Emperor finally became a symbolic person ruling nothing. Barbarians who came romanised very wuicky though and maintained roman culture for ages before transition of it into the European medieval culture which made enable the possibility of Renaissance.
Also the big problem was a Christianity and other cults which became popular in late roman empire. Society became more conservative and sectarian violence became more popular resulting in increasing grade of economy decline.

>implying anything went wrong

They didn't core all provinces or change culture, they should also have kept autonomy values higher and hired advisors to reduce revolt risk

What's the point of this map? Why not do it as percentage of population??

I just realized for the first time that Neapolis is Napoli

I am retarded

Serbs

>>Rome fucked up by trying to promote multiculturalism.
>He believes in the 'Romans promoted multiculturalism' meme
Romans didn't have the power to forcefully assimilate all their subject populations, though they tried via Italian colonization (hence why France and Iberia speak Latin languages). In reality, they hated non-Greek cultures so much that it wasn't until the first century AD that ethnic Italians from Gaul and Iberia were even allowed in the senate, because the Romans believed living their corrupted with with barbarity.

So... We make the Empire great again?

Muslims

It opposed the will of God and had to be discarded.

fuck the pope

Fuck Israel.

Praise the Pope!

Actually the latter they performed greatly, all the barbarians became Romanized in a few decades, it's a good result for modern age and it was really great for antiquity. Even fuckin vandals famous for being total retards were cosplaying Romans with wine and bathes when Arabs came.

Deus Vult!

>what is bryzantine empire

Nothing

Caeasr is an ancestor of youngest windsor baby (don't remember name)

So basically one family and one region (w. europe) rules the world for over 2k years

High Francisco
They were xenophobic but the other fact is that people in Roman empire became Romanized extremely fast even by modern standards. There was actually no cultural issues in fall of Roman empire, it was pure economical and military thing. The only thing linked to culture was a sectarian violence caused by spreading Christianity and society becoming more conservative.

Deus Vult!

We are waiting for your calls

Please assassinate the commie Argie pope. Be our hero.

>one region (w. europe) rules the world for over 2k years
Well, it's nit correct. Roman Empire ruled only MENA, France and southern Europe, no China or India involved. Before the 1400s Europe was an irrelevant shithole. Than Mongol invasion happened and shitted countries from China to Egypt not touching Europe at all (it's the reason why the Russia is retarded compared to the West). So Europeans got the handicap and invented capitalism first becomin world hegemons.

He is not long for this world anyway.

KERNOW HA CYMRU BYDNER CORCHFYKW

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Post proof that you're not a proxy.

>This fucking delusion

Uncontrolled immigration, women's rights, fragmentation of power.

Dividing the empire into Western & Eastern was the greatest mistake ever made.

At least the eastern part survived for almost a millennia more.

first post best post

well well, talk me about Sup Forums

>women's rights
Oh wow. Are you serious? Late roman empire was extremely conservative due to Christianity.
>immigration
Actually it was what helped empire last longer. Barbarians who were allowed to live in empire were Romanized very quickly giving empire more recruits to fight Atilla and more retarded barbarians than previous ones.

never heard of the bryzantine empire

>What went wrong?
Pestilence essentially, wide a side of overextension in the wrong directions.
Caracalla and the continual political instability were pretty bad too.

>Actually it was what helped empire last longer.
Well considering the empire fell due to the germans already in rather than the ones pushing from outside, one would argue that they killed it.
That said, the situation is not like nowadays. The germs had to be let in because after the plague there was like noone left on the northern frontiers.

jew

Overextension.
Grew too large to manage effectively at the time.

FUCK THE POPE

The eternal kraut

>t. uneducated muslim

The eastern part was more christian than the western empire and still survived.

The Dictatorship fell and was replaced by a Republican Senate again. Corruption reemerged which literally became the end of Rome.

This mans come and fuck your everything

Socialism, immigration, atheism, liberalism and restriction of gun ownership.
