Those with the x200, do you run arch or gentoo?

Those with the x200, do you run arch or gentoo?

I run Ubuntu Gnome

I run Windows 10

I run Ubuntu 14.04

Gentoo is a pain on c2d CPUs.

I run OpenSUSE Tumbleweed

I run Void Linux

I used to have debian but im planning on putting arch on it

Why?

why do you even have a x200 when you run shit on it?

bunsenlabs

Archlinux
Gnome 3
parabola

Thats an X220 and Gentoo because compiling from source is superior to pacman and fuck sys d.

>Mint
Everything else is a pain in the ass to set up just to shitpost.
inb4 muh normalfag can't fuck around for a few days

libreboot + trisquel and some ppas, so really it's ubuntu

It takes a long time to compile stuff.

hi luke
hi void

hi darkness my old friend

Gentoo of course

I know it is superior, but is it enough to make it worth the compile times? I am wanting to put gentoo on it but didn't know if it would be worth it or not.

Why not just try it out?

Void

I started to but then messed something up, don't remember what now, and had to start over. By that point I just threw arch in for the time being.

typical gentoo install experience. you gotta fail like 5 times before everything goes well.

Yeah I actually remember what I did wrong. For some reason now matter what I did I couldn't get wireless to work.

Win10 and sits well in a closet since that laptop is utter shit when it comes to reliability in my experience. Only use this when i need to run some scripts or shit 24/7. Desktop would consume 100+w

Xubuntu with the linux-libre kernel

same fagging

Michaelsoft Bindows X (Ten) (10) (Ultimate Professional Enterprise Edition With Blast Processing)

distcc?

arch but i have x201

I have an X230, running Win7 X86 COE, it gets kind of weak when running Chrome and all my other stuff.

Surprising no. I actually do run Ubuntu Gnome on an x200.

I run Solus on my x201t.

Does anyone actually run gentoo....
