Also, a $399 version, but its probably cut down Vega
the GTX 1080 is already $400. RIP AMD.
>yfw $400 version has been the benchmarked one matching 1080 all along
>yfw nice try, pajeet
>300W TDP
But then again, fanboys buy everything thrown at them, even shit.
Why can't it be a cheaper 1070 then it would be way more reasonable
When is the NDA gonna be lifted?
I am waiting for reviews of tech portals.
Not gonna watch some advertisment presentation and some faggot shill on YT.
>ayymdpoojet
>calling anyone pajeet
kys poojet
Rajeet please stop drinking JHH's semen.
Take yout tongue out of King Poojet's anal for once, Rajeesh.
>tmw Vega comes, not reasonable price enough to buy
>would it be smart to buy polaris?????
Yes
>implying all paid shills aren't pajeets.
I understand your frustration, Mr. Patel
Why can't it be cheaper than a 480, that would be way more reasonable
>2 8pin
AYYMD HOUSEFIRES
$400 for the 56 CU model?
This will be the one to get, AMD's XL models are only some 10% at best slower than XTX ones, should be around the 1080.
If the 56 is around 1080 power but $100 cheaper at 399 it's not actually too bad desu. Not the huge leap people are looking for. Will have to see how the 64 holds up
[UPDATED – 7:36 AM ET 30/7/2017] We just got word that RX Vega 56 will cost $399 and the Limited Edition liquid cooled RX Vega 64 will retail for $699 and be part of a “special bundle”. We don’t know yet what this bundle will look like. We’ve now heard similar price quotes for the entire lineup from multiple sources, which is a good sign.
>LC Vega and 1800x $699 bundle
I WANT TO BELIEVE...
>implying you can buy a new 1080 for anything less than $500
>300 watts
please tell me they're joking.....
Daily reminder that AMD and Nvidia calculate TDP differently
Intel doesn't even bother calculating it, costs too much pennies over a few years.
LC Vega and 1200 kek
56 = 1070
64 = 1080
64 with Liquid = higher clock speed then air closer to 1080ti performance but still short
>56 = 1070
>64 = 1080
10%(at best)less performance than a 1080 = 1070? Lol, the 1080 is a good 30% faster than a 1070.
499 for the first 3 days, afterward it will be 800 because of all mining shiters
This NDA needs to hurry up and lift, already, so I can know whether or not to wait for Navi
or you could just wait longer and get the 2070 card which will probably have similar performance 1080ti for $399
Reminder than 1080 draws half the power.
Yes, 2070 will totally have the die size of 471mm^2.
What is GTX 1070 310mm2 performance equal to GTX 980 Ti 600mm2
Stay retarded though
huh? the 56 and 64 are not the same card
1070 is a double node jump you fucking retard.
Get back to Sup Forums
if it is made in a smaller node (7nm instead of 14nm) they may cut the area in half.
What is GTX 980 390mm2 faster than GTX 780 Ti 560mm2 at 28nm?
CHECKMATE, FAGGOT
>200w+
>half
Reminder that 1080ti has a TDP rating from Nvidia of 250w, but regularly approaches 300w, and up to 320w on OC variants.
Also the water cooler adds to that number, silly
Because the 780ti slower than a first gen GCN
What?
Volta is 12nm FFN which offers 0% density improvements over 16nm FF+.
>what is TBR
?
A completely new architecture on top of Kepler being a piece of shit that's getting outperformed by cards 2 years older.
GK110 wastes the die space for FP64.
>liquid cooked
housefire confirmed
>not frying your turkey with GPU power
Pic related.
Its an actual, real, toaster, powered by Nvidia GPU's.
Seriously. Google it.
...
>64 with Liquid = higher clock speed then air closer to 1080ti performance
No even close
They are genuinely delusional
>they
Who?
Rajas
Who?
BENCHMARKS WHEN
Sadly
Hopefully tomorrow.
1070 to 1080 performance, +300w housefire.
But sweden promised me that vega was going to cost $1100
looks like we will talk about it tomorrow
>talk
Ha ha no.
Expect crying wojak edits from either side.
I THOUGHT VEGA WAS SUPPOSED TO BE 500% FASTER THAN 1080TI
wait (tm)
O-okay
>please tell me they're joking.....
Lol it's 300-375 actually. I think one outlet reported 400W after some overclocking.
a 1080 now starts at $900 where i live. it used to be around $650 months ago
Those high TDP #s are doing nothing for me w.r.t elevated power usage and a toasty room. Eyeing the 56 hoping it will have lower power usage/lower heat output with 1080 level performance @$399. I'm in if so. Will possible consider @ 1070 level performance but if its TDP is double that of a 1070 yet only performs at a 1070 level, R.I.P.
I didn't buy a housefire 1080/1080ti for a reason.
Performance efficiency matters.
>december
WHAT DECEMBER YOU FUCKS REEEEEEEE
Sweet. I can finally get a 1440p 144hz monitor. Only buying Vega for freesync but I'm saving $300 on the monitor so even if Vega was $200 more expensive I still save $100. Fucking so hype, been dying to get adaptive sync. My 980ti gets 21000 in firestrike graphics score so it's probably only a minor upgrade but whatever
How much worse than the 1070 is the 1080 on heat, really?
>Only buying Vega for freesync but I'm saving $300 on the monitor
Please try to put a little bit more effort into your shilling. At least mix up the phrasing from your marketing bullet point sheet a little.
So is it going to be $399 like the link in the OP says or $329?
It's nividas fault for not supporting it. They're just losing sales. Shill or not it's the truth. Freesync is a huge deal for me
Freesync/Gsync is nothing but fluff. If screen tearing is such a huge issue then you should probably upgrade from your Pentium CPU. The real benefit of AMD is not being subjected to Nvidia's cancerous software every time you install drivers, and knowing you're not going to have literal actual malware that throws ads on the desktop bundled in.
xSync is really a thing?
>flagship videocard under 800
>during this crypto mining boom
ahahahahahah
>Wccftech
>I want to believe...
don't
wccftech literally just throws shit at a wall
just because something sticks from time to time doesn't mean you should ever believe them
videocardz.com is reporting this too. at least a credible salsa
>Worse case you can just use v-sync.
enjoy your halved framerate every time your system takes a shit
329 is more reasonable. but december is too late.
the closer to launch it gets the more credible what they say gets.
thats the AIB card.
kek.
i want to know if im gonna buy vega or 1080ti.
>people taking fake tweets seriously
but the source is literally just some guy in a forum who says he saw the prices on newegg but they removed it and he didn't think to take pictures
if you have something lower then a 2/380 vega is a solid upgrade
if you have something 290 or higher, vega likely won't be a solid enough upgrade
I'm on a Fury X now. I have a FS monitor, and I can get 144+ FPS on just about anything, if I research what settings to turn down or off, but I want MORE... MOAR POWER!!!
Honestly, I shouldn't complain. Fury X is p underrated, considering how well it's done for me. Quiet, cool, and most of all, it justwerks
not him, I'm on a HD6670
this is going to be good
Is Vega Going To Be Much Better Than GTX 1070 With Over Clock ?
We don't know.
When Is Embargo Removal Scheduled ? Was Today, No ?
Looks like it's gonna be tomorrow's evening.
You're on that 1440p 144hz game? If so, same here. The only triple A games i play are unironically HITMAN and DOOM so I'm pretty happy with the 280 dollars I spent on this card. What kind of CPU are you running? I got a xeon e3-1231 v3 with 1600 ddr3 ram and I'm wondering if upgrading my cpu will even improve my performance at this resolution.
I think in around 8 hours, or so
NDA lifts tomorrow.
Yee, 1440p mustard race, my Boi.
I'm on a 6700k now, with 16Gib DDR4. It was an improvement over my oc'd 8350, but not like I was hoping. Should've waited for Ryzen desu
>Just wait™ a little longer
JUST WAIT NIGGA
I cant wait to buy vega
videocardz.com
>Retards actually believed it would be any different than FE
Enjoy your 300-350W, 440W overclock HOUSEFIRES
weak bait, Satan.
Has there been any news about the Raven Ridge APUs lately? Mainly if they're going to use ~700 or 1024 Vega cores.
It tops at 11CUs which means 704 ALUs.
im gonna guess its 25-50watts more than the 1080ti. but you fags will still scream HOUSEFIRE just so you can fuel a meme.
I'm still predicting 12cus for full fat chip. 11 makes no sense and is a shit number.
