Something with decent power behind it and temperature control. It makes everything so much easier which is especially useful if you're new to soldering. Search for "936 soldering station" on chink sites or maybe the TS100 from the last thread if you want something more portable.
Don't listen to cheap uncontrolled irons are shit and will turn you off soldering when you constantly fail to melt anything attached to a ground plane or lift pads attached to thin traces. And even if you get by with one initially it'll make you want to upgrade ASAP.
He's right about just watching a youtube video though. The fundamentals are simple. Solder WANTS to flow toward and stick to hot, clean metal. Flux is key to ensure the metal stays clean during the heating process. Heat the two things you want soldered together and apply solder to the parts (not the iron). If they're hot enough the solder will wet and stick to them like glue all on its own.

Ended up buying the budget Weller WHS40 for 65EUR. Honestly, OP, don't bother with the super cheap ones, it is literally a waste of money in this case.
