install gentoo

OH fuck fast shit ummm... Maybe fuck off :^)

...

You shoul dinstall windows like normal sane person, and not fall for thah whole linux meme.

Wow... So this is the power of Linux!

Just run the installation again from the start. If it fails once more, it wasn't destined to be.

For some reason there was a problem with installing the boot loader on an EFI partition

Try booting on legacy, set up the BIOS for that

If you don't know how, google it, no more spoonfeeding. We are not required to do it "fast" for you.

I’m installing Lubuntu because my laptop is an absolute potato.

Use Windows or macOS, we are full.

OK

if this is a dual boot then it's fine
if it's not, then just install it again

Sup Forums is not your personal tech support

I had a similar problem with ubuntu 16.04. I ended up using legacy bios mode instead of UEFI and it worked.

Sorry guys, I seem to have angered you.

its most likely because your system has bios

instal LXDE Fedora.

Really activates those pistachios

he's not wrong though, if you installed gentoo then you'd know how to install grub manually.

That error means grub is not installed to the disk. If you were to reinstall grub the system would boot. Otherwise install windows or Mac that come with build in bootloaders.

Probably an issue with your partition table. I had this issue when installing Debian because my disk had a BSD partition table.

Had to reformat some 3 times before it finally accepted the install.

Install iso image again and make sure you use rufus or someother boot loader to do it correctly for your dumbass

1) turn off secure boot in bios
2) stop liking dick so much

>wahh why isn't loonix more popular?
said literally no one ever

EFI was a mistake. Reformat your hard drive using MBR and boot legacy.

delet this

he's not wrong though
