Thoughts on Krita?
Thoughts on Krita?
i don't download software with anime girls in it
It's good software, but its target userbase are Photoshop babyducks.
It won't run on Remote Desktop so it can go fuck itself
I want to fuck the mascot. That makes it the best out there
I don't know how to draw
It's cute.
>furfag mascot
Kiki is cute!
Proof that FOSS programs can be just as good as the closed source alternatives for most people when a sane framework is used and the devs aren't autistic losers
I want to fuck that squirrel.
>FOSS
>There's a paid version
The application would be fine but Qt sucks so the application does too.
She's cute.
I, like other anons, want to fuck that squirrel.
I ain't see no problem there my boy
My thoughts exactly
This^
and?
Have it, tried to use it, can't figure it out, go back to gimp.
Krita is shit compared to closed source alternatives (like Corel Painter).
But it's FOSS and it is usable for an amateur digital artist. That's why I wish all the best to devs.
Is this better than MyPaint?
>Linux
>There's RHEL
>BSD/actual UNIX
>there's OS X, PlayStation OS, etc
>Plan 9
>originally released at a $350 source licence price point
your 'tisms literally demand nothing but TempleOS, so I guess I can at least respect them being actual 'tisms that you need treatment for before you're let back out into society rather than just dumb ideas
it's got a sensible ui and it's easy to do fairly simple stuff. i used it a while back to do a flat round icon set for my internal software which I reverse proxy and link to from my default page. nothing fancy - just copying, resizing and rotating layers and recolouring etc. everything just werked©
I like a lot of it, bretty useful. Is there add-on's/mods for it? because there's a couple little things I wanna change
I wonder how Kiki feels about the lewd shit I've drawn with her software.
I wish I could draw so I had an excuse to use it.
Last time I tried it there was barely any customization for brushes, the UI was big and ugly but most importantly the aliasing on lines was absolutely awful.
Shite brush engine
Poor interface for image manipulation
Tacked on, clunky filters
Whats the point? Another failed attempt at an open source content production software tool
Rather mediocre, shilled constantly here recently ever since they got more funding
Using a raster editor for making an icon set?
You are kinda using wrong tools for the job.
The pop up color wheel and the color wheel widgets use separate code, so setting changes for one dont apply to another.
So you have to use both at once for full functionality
What a piece of shit. Also the brush fans out on sharp strokes and painting with 100 and more brosh diameter brings my i7 to its knees
>Another failed attempt at an open source content production
This time it got at least some things right.
I still have a hope that one day I could uninstall Adobe products and use only FOSS tools is my work
i did them all at 512x512 pngs so they weren't icons as such. just thought it was easy to use.
I plan on writing one in delphi over the course of a couple years when i get free time.
I actually use ps for a living so hopefully ill do a decent job. Dont wait up tho
>fucking delphi in 2017
you're in your 40s aren't you?
What exactly is that thing?
