I have low requirements:

Has a display port

Nah, but next year

Dell/AOC/ASUS
1440p
144hz

Waiting on prices

this

free crt from craiglist

LG
2560*1080
60hz
Will never go back to 16:9

mackie
high res
20khz

Dell
60hz
WQHD
5ms

I have a 24 inch monitor but it feels too small for some reason, manlets will never know this feeling

scale ppi 4K FHD 1440p

2x 192 22.9" 11.4" 15.2"

Just recently picked up a new monitor
AOC
3840x2160
60hz TN panel
28"

It was relatively cheap as far as 4k goes (around $500 leaf dollars) and I fucking love it. Everything is so clear and smooth. Oddly enough, I notice the difference more in everyday utility stuff than I do in muh games.

is craigslist the only real option to get a crt nowadays

iiyama prolite xb2483hsu

...

i have 2x dell U2515H and that works beautifully well for me

>brand

I win

1080p 240hz tn gsync to git gut at shootan gams
Wait for hdr 4k ips >100hz for media consumption

Need a new monitor. Can't manage to get a panel without dead pixels. Tired of trying only to fail.

Acer Predator
1440p
165hz
G-sync (G-Meme)
1ms
Usb 3.1 hub
Decent speakers
I just got it for 399€

>brand
don't care, always seem to end up going ASUS though
>resolution
1080p min, not as important as
>refresh rate
144hz, can't go back
>color
ever since I started developing astigmatism, this one's less important to me because all lights blur together anyway, I'd never be able to tell 16mil vs 1bil
>response time
5ms, although I doubt you could tell a few more
>inputs
HDMI/DP are a must, don't really give a shit about any of the others
>mounts
as long as the stand is adjustable in height, I don't give a shit, but to each their own

High DPI is disgusting, it's extremely gross to not see the individual pixels. 1600x1200 is the perfect resolution.

dubs confirmes.
that asus curved 1440 yeah man im going for that im just curius about the price tag im not willing to spend more then 700

YAH sure.

If you were looking for the best, you would not be using apple.

>TN panel

very yes

Dell
1440p
Don't really care about refresh rate
Ultrasharp
Has HDMI/DP
Rotatable display

Any other monitors better than my specs?

Right now I've got a shitty iiyama 1080p 60 hertz TN panel. Waiting for vega 64 benchmarks and then I'll either buy a gtx 1080/vega 64 and 4K ips display.

something like:
>TN/1ms
>high resolution but normal dpi
>small/no bezels
maybe ips if it hadn't input lag, i have amva+ and i dull the contrast to TN-tier anyway.

ASUS (ROG Swift PG278Q)
1440p
1ms (TN master race, I live in a dark room and the IPS glow of the PG279Q was too unbearable)
144hz
G-sync
Displayport only

4k HDR IPS Freesync

LG
23"
60Hz
1080p

HP Pavilion 22cwa

$89 burgers

Use 2 60hz 24in BenQ 1080p monitors, got both for $220.

Might sell and buy a 34in 21:9

>CTRL+F
>ultrawide
>BLIN-sound
>mfw

Crossover or Micro board Korean import
4k resolution
144 hz refresh ( hopefully by December)
32 to 40 inch
Va or IPS panel

could you name some good monitors with these features?

is this a meme or real? because i will buy a 31" 1440p if it isn't

can't stand 4k

Ultrawide is a terrible meme kys

Don't care
2560x1600
60hz
25"
OLED
USB-C

This, only HDMI but that's okay for these specs.

I currently use a dell u2515h 1440p monitor and it is great but I have a gtx 1070 and I want to try out 120+ fps at 1080p for gaming and use my dell for work.

Is g sync worth it? My budget is around €500 and those ugly Acer predators are all I can seem to find in that price range.

Im also looking at the BenQ XL2430 24-inch 144 Hz if anyone knows how that is?

I would happily go over €500 if the difference would be worth it.

I can highly recommend the dell u2515h

I want to get a LG 27UD88 but it's constantly out of stock. Might end up waiting for the LG 32UD99.

My requirements are:
IPS
3840x2160
60hz
USB-C
USB hub on back

This

>NOS or used
>Eizo T960
>1600x1200
>100Hz@at said resolution
>No sample and hold blurring or 'back'(edge)light bleed

Acer 270HUA
1440P
144Hz
Freesync
IPS
4ms

Good enough for me until 4K 120Hz HDR Freesync 2 becomes common.

>meme
what you mean? you can check it yourself

I've had bad experiences with HDMI. (Regarding a graphics card and PC monitor.)

If Ultrawide is meme, and curved is shit, what can I get to show off muh new fancy card?

I want a big one for immersion and making me feel like a hacker. Plus gaymes. Will probably have a television off to the side and two smaller monitors up top.

Asus
1080p
60hz
1ms
Nothing special

I'm about to buy this.

amazon.com/LG-32MA68HY-P-32-Inch-Monitor-Display/dp/B01IA9FXAO

>32" monitor
>1080p
Those pixels are going to be fucking huge.

I'm on a 40" now and have hard time seeing pixels.

Show me a better deal.

Current set up is:
24" LG 1080p @ 144hz (fucking TN panel I hate it when I'm not gayming)
24" LG 4k @ 60hz IPS

Hopefully in 2020 I will be able to get
2 27" bezel-less 4k @ 144hz IPS

Also 1440 is a meme

This with IPS panel.

Sony GDM-FW900

Its a massive CRT that is glorious and better than any current monitor tech. Finding it was a bitch but I have 5 of them now from one seller. I had to drive 12 hours on day to get my grubby hands on this fucking monstrosity.

I just took my 34" ultrawide back a few days ago after using it for a month, and went back to my 27" monitor and 4:3 monitor above it. The extra horizontal space isn't as useful or as large as you'd think. It's ok for games, but nothing extraordinary.

Oh, I wasn't crapping on your choice. I'm just going off of the chart that gets posted.

27" had it where I saw individual pixels, but I was also pixel hunting for dead pixels. Sadly I found one. Having really shit luck with monitors, so I'm just going to order $99 22" 1ms panels from Walmart until I get one that doesn't have a defect.

Buying monitors shouldn't be this much of a fucking headache.

cheapest 4K monitor
it's bretty gud desu
24", IPS for $260

Going to pick up the Dell U2515H but I'm unsure if 25 inches is too small for 1440p

>27 inch
>2560x1440
>60Hz

is a gold standard
personally own Benq GW2765HT, greatest monitor I ever had

I have two Dell U2415 and I'm very happy with them. I know you didn't ask which monitors we have but 2 years ago I was in situation where I needed two monitors and did a lot of research and these were the ones I ended up with, having a very lax budget within reason.

If your primary use for a monitor is playing very fast paced FPS games you might want a 144hz, but then you're sacrificing from everything else. If you just want a good monitor for productivity and general gaming high-end 60hz IPS is the way to go.

tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/dell_u2415.htm

Eizo has some monitors that on paper look excellent, but everywhere I read about them that wasn't the official site they seemed to have LOTS of issues with consistent build quality.

Apple computers actually have very high quality monitors. At least they used to, haven't bought an Apple product in 6 years.

27-32"
1440p
144Hz
FreeSync2
NOT CURVED
NOT TN

amazon.com/HP-E9Q82A4-DreamColor-Z24x-Professional/dp/B00J1EQAZA

>iiyama
>ProLite XB2380HS (23,8")
>FullHD 60Hz

Got myself two of them since they perfectly fit my needs. Love them.

Whos our lord ? Jesus ?

AOC
2560x1440
144Hz
Only Freesync though
2x DP, HDMI, DVI, VGA (that's the reason why i bought this particular model instead of G-Sync one)

Mr money bags over here.

I want to get pic related by the end of the year.
3440 x 1440
FreeSync with LFC to pair it with my RX 480(I don't play vidya so a RX 480 is enough to drive it for desktop stuff).
100% SRGB
>20 ms

Blurbusters, TFTcentral and pcmonitors.info are the best websites to check for monitor reviews and test

it was like 120% of my monthly wage

I need a:
1080p
24-27in
144hz
Freesync
IPS
Monitor

Definitely not too small, I have it and it looks beautiful, I'm buying a second

I'm in a sticky situation where if i want a better monitor i need a better GPU to run it. With GPUs how they are right now it feels a little chicken & egg.

Ultrawide
3440x1440@144Hz
OLED preferred, IPS acceptable
Adaptive Sync

Two of them, stacked vertically, flanked by two vertically oriented 16:10 displays

walmart.com/ip/LG-24MB35P-B-24-LED-LCD-Monitor/39622820

Merry Christmas to whoever gets them.

>HP 32 inch pavillion

have a dell u2515h 1440p at 80hz. werks for me
