I have this Intel SSD (pic related). I usually just play games and I wanted to know if upgrading to a Samsung 850 SSD would be an upgrade. I'm alright with the capacity of my current Intel SSD.

I upgraded from an mx100 to an 850 Evo and the performance difference is quite noticeable, up to twice as fast when doing things like opening DEs
Not sure how noticeable it would be for games though, some games are barely different between HDDs and SSDs in the first place
Games that stream constantly like GTA 5 would get a noticeable bump

which are almost the same but the "2135" and "2133"
going from hdds to ssds is a significant upgrade because you remove seek time and random read/write is much faster, however getting a better ssd, while it can be twice as fast on paper, won't make a huge difference if you're not using the full amount of bandwidth which is something os loading or games might not do but it should still be a nice upgrade, just think of it like going from a 5400rpm green hdd to a 10k rpm hdd rather from a hdd to an ssd again
if you get mismatching speeds all the ram will run at the slowest stick speed, should generally be fine

I'm looking towards getting a tablet, however, I don't know of many tablets which are good for the price.
In an ideal world, I would probably get a nvidia shield k1, however, they've not been in production for a while, and as such are expensive.

Any SSD is a massive upgrade from a mechanical harddrive. However, the difference between one SSD and the next isn't nearly as large, and you're unlikely to notice it outside of benchmarks.
Which of these is a better option for my CPU fan setup? And how do I know it's getting the proper amount of air flow? Is there a CPU fan controller program I can get?

Not him but at my school, it was standard for anyone in anything engineering/computer-related. The internship(s) can lead to a position after graduation, but if not, you've gotta work a little harder during senior year. I'm not saying everyone had a job lined up, but once you started hearing your peers talk about all the shit they had lined up, it made you want to do the same.

Do I need a graphics card for watching videos?
I'm planning to buy a computer for my parents who just watch tv shows online all day while playing solitaire and I'm wondering if i'm going overkill on this rig
Onboard Intel graphics are fine for 1080P and below.
I have 1Gbps internet speed, most speed is used while torrenting and watching 4k youtube videos on my 1080p monitor.
Any suggestions what should I do with all the bandwidth I have?

My PS4 refuses to connect to my wifi, I've opened the ports and they did fuckall. Well, actually no it """connects""" to my wifi in that it recognizes the name and goes far enough in setup to have all the network details but it falls on it's face in the internet test. I can access the router's settings, anyone have an idea to fix this shit? I contacted both Sony & Comcast, neither were helpful.
