Salty GNOMEfigs in this ITT
BOTH: are bloat
>features are bloat
It's the best "heavy" DE, I recommend it to my friends but don't use it myself.
Konqi!!!!!
kde connect. no real replacement
>Konqi wants to know what you love most about KDE!
That would be KDE 3.5.
Konqi and Kate are so cute! :3
Konqi is cute! CUTE!
Fuck you
Fucking disgusting, you degenerated!
You can tweak to your heart's content. Can't be said about other DEs out there. It also looks good.
NO EXCEPTIONS

I loved it when it was 3.5
File picker thumbnails.
Features
Bloat and customizability
Is this i3 with Plasma or something?
Nah, it's KWin.
How?
Kwin doesn't tile. It's probably i3.

Oh. Nice. Trying it.
It might be awful. I started creating it for personal use by playing around with KWin API without much programming knowledge. I think it's turning out pretty nicely but then again, I can't know if it feels any good for others. Feel free to give me any feedback.
I'm uploading it to KDE Store soon-ish for easier installation but as of now, I've mostly linked it here as it might still be a little buggy.
You should add smooth transitions, unless you already have and just turned them off for the webm/personal preference.
They're just Plasma settings. Not doable via the script engine. Can't animate window movement caused by the keybindings.
Perhaps you could emulate the click&drag instead? I don't know how the API works or anything like that so if what I'm suggesting is impossible then okay.
I love how KDE exists just to punish aestheticucks with endless bugs and crashes for all eternity.
>eye candy
Feels like 2005
It has lots of neato things that appeal to me and make life easier.
Also Konqi is KUTE
KDE peaked with 3, and that isn't how CC BY-SA works.
A reply is undoubtedly a derived work. It wouldn't exist without the OP, so, therefor, it is caught by SA.
this. if only kwin/plasma weren't so buggy...
Konqi is bumping the thread!
>fuck katie
kek
EVERYTIME I TRY TO USE KRUNNER THE MOTHERFUCKER TRIES TO SHOAH MY CPU.
WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON I JUST WANT TO LAUNCH MY ANIMU MUSIC NOT GENOCIDE MY CORES.
I love KDE the most out of all the Linux desktop environments primarily because I hate the other ones even more.
I wan to fug Katie
Katie is not for sexual
The fact that KDE is the only DE without terrible screen tearing out if the box
I'm not sure what that thing is but
Not true. I had the same problem in KDE that I had in XFCE, except XFCE allows me to use the Ctrl+Esc key combo for app menu while KDE bugs out and complains.
Also, every time I opened something it would have graphical glitches. Not to mention the video player didn't even play MKVs while Parole does.
the things I like :
- you can configure it without scripting, or waiting for a dev to make a script
- it didn't try to revolution the desktop and use by default the traditionnal agencement that we all use to it
- it's lighter thant Gnome 3
the things I dislike :
- widget, who needs widget in 2017 ?
Konqi is a pure boy!
that's because of your drivers, not KDE
