FUCK YOU, MCAFEE

Finally uninstalled that shit software (I only installed it because my Dad wouldn't shut up about it) and there's a bunch of leftover files and shit labeled "McAfee" that won't delete.
>use [uninstall program]
Tried, doesn't register them as existing. And there are some left over gif files of the logo and shit that need "administrator permission" to delete.

Anyone?

Delete them in Linux LiveCD mode.

Is something also wrong with your search engine?

>Winkey+r
>Write "cmd"
>type
>takeown /R (folder you want to delete)
>go to the folder and press properties
>Open the security tab and give your user full control
Done now you can delete it

If it says shit like "you need permissions from "YourUser" to delete this folder" install a Linux distro on a USB boot from it and delete the file from linux

I don't. My dad just hounded me with "MUH SITE ADVISOR!!!!" until I downloaded that shit.

Now I'm just going through my Lenovo G505 and just deleting every cloggy software I find and I'm contemplating deleting the Lenovo brand user aid software crap like "Lenovo Help Center" and whatever.
