Hello, kiddo.
Get therapy
Goodbye, world.
An executive running Linux?
Hey fren
...
Yeah, I know what you're thinking.
I'm an executive.
I mean, why am I even running Linux? Again, old habits.
I don't know whether it was a concerted viral marketing effort or good old fashioned organic memeing but I'm glad Sup Forums turned me on to this show. It's fantastic.
>mfw someone's going to think I'm one of the viral marketers using a new meta-cognitition technique
>mfw I am the AI
Sup cunt.
I watched the first episode and gave up. Does it get any better or does it just stay cringy anti capitalist & "yeah i'm a KDE man myself" tier
After the first few episodes, it goes away. There's some hints here and there paying omage to fight club though.
Tfw last ep was too straight forward and you don't even have a cliff hanger.
Only fucking Redditors keep beating dead horses of memes over and over, just fuck off with this retarded shit.
Absolutely 100% viral marketing.

This bullshit was nonstop for months on Sup Forums and Sup Forums.
No, it stays like that, but adds some shamalan tier double personality bulshit on top of it.
hey your show sucks
Frens!
It gets less about tech as time goes on and more about muh revolution and "omg i'm christian slater!"
The first episode of Mr.Robot is the only one I genuinely like and remember. (The Infiltration one was good too though.) Season 1 ended with a bunch of twists I saw coming a mile away and acted like I should care.
>"Lets just pretend like Fight Club never happened and pretend this is so orignal"
What I watched of Season 2 may as well have been Watch Dogs 2.
Is anyone going to watch season 3?
this. Especially about the whole fight club thing.
I'll watch season 3. I read somewhere this show will have 5 seasons so I guess they can end up making a pretty decent show.
The plot is far from being top tier but I assume the viewers are not there for "a small team of heroes fight against an evil capitalist conglomerate, featuring chinese hackers and cringy fbi agents", but rather for the tech. In which category, Mr Robot leaves Silicon valley and Halt and Catch Fire in the dust.
Let's hope the show won't be ruined by "muh womyn power" like game of thrones nor turn into a boring family drama like the walking dead after few seasons.
that just shows that it's the same image
I'm mainly disappointed that there wasn't as much tech talk in season 2 as there was in season 1.
This show was honestly not half bad first season
But season 2 was abysmal
>anti capitalist
????
They're trying to collapse corporatism. That's just about as purely capitalist as you can get
Of course, season 2 was fucking unbelievable
Turned into some shitty fantasy.
>We will never get a show about some average office Joe who delves into the world of info sec and has his internet persona becomes an enemy of the state. All while keeping it moderately realistic.
Season 2's tech was less impressive than in the first one, especially because the "Sam Sepiol" pentest put the level too high for "corporate angela" to follow, and this has turned out into Angela's mysterious interview by dark army, which was a boring (yet relevant?) scene.
Back to tech, season 2 showed The Silk Road, Romero's meme thermite, fat indian redditor's phone pwned by based hijab tweking girl, and especially the social engineering for finding the who was calling pic related.
But the "I'm hacking the fbi" with a python script written in 15 minutes and Daddy Robot's "cross all the primes, convert it into ascii then into hexadecimal so we can set up a super secret meeting" were low hanging fruits.
>Tfw last ep was too straight forward and you don't even have a cliff hanger.
How was Angela associated with Tyrell at the end? Who fired the gun at the fsociety safehouse, why, and at whom?
IMO the show should really have another big hacking thing like when Elliot hacked the drug dealer out of prison. The DDoS attack in the first episode of season one was also pretty cool, and it looks "hackery" if you aren't familiar with the tech terminology involved.
>super secret elite hacker
>goes into a Micro Center
>buys MSI Gaming Edition(tm) laptop
"Gotta have the best and fastest computer on the entire market of the whole world! Top notch specs for my leet hacking escapades!"
Come on, he'd buy a used ThinkPad or some other shit that was cheap and he could toss without a loss. That seen was as cringy as the driveway seen in Breaking Bad with those shitty Chryslers.
There was an episode (I think from season two) where Elliot went and bought a bunch of supplies from a store to make a Wi-Fi antenna out of a Pringles can. One of the characters in the store was playing Watch Dogs, so that was a nice touch to the whole "1337 h4x0r" thing.
>seen
please learn english
Unbelievably shit, maybe.
People who actually watch and enjoy this shit should be gassed.
>implying any of these questions are interesting
Season 2 is evidence that some directors are only good at reappropating existing ideas (Fight Club) or fall victim to thinking that just making random shit happen is going to make your audience interested.
The power cuts were unexplained. WhiteRose and what she was planning was unexplained. The whole retarded child interrogation scene was unexplained. ECoin was not explored at all.
Honestly, some of the theories on >>>/reddit/ were better than the fucking season itself.
