Redo is mapped to ctrl+shift+z instead of ctrl+y

>Redo is mapped to ctrl+shift+z instead of ctrl+y

>Redo is mapped to ctrl+y instead of ctrl+shift+z

Copy and paste mapped to Alt+C and Alt+V

name one program that does this

>undo is mapped to u
>redo is mapped to ctrl+r
The way it should be

Part of my study involves using an in-house program that emulates network devices

Those are the actual key combinations to copy and paste.

>Copy paste is mapped to ctrl+insert/shift+insert

blender, great otherwise

isn't it easier to hit ctrl shift z compared to ctrl y?

my work gives everyone macs though so i'm hitting the equivalent of alt z and alt shift z anyways.

gui is a bit 90s though, i will allow

>second undo is mapped to CTRL+ALT+Y

>want to save
>ctrl+o return
>realize I am not using nano right now

>program doesn't have customizable hotkeyseao

shift = opposite in most cases
shift + tab = reverse tab
shift + undo = reverse undo

>ctrl y
>converts image to CMYK

>paste is mapped to alt+middleclick

>Redo is mapped to both

Y're serisly this retarded?

>Paste is mapped to alt+space>e>p
guess the program

>his editor isn't modal

Such retardation can only come from emacs.

nope it's windows cmd

these fucking bindings

that fucking font rendering

fixd

And Ctrl-Y is 'Delete Line' so the thing you wanted to redo is now gone
>IntelliJ IDEA

My eyes! Arrrgh!

Copy: ctrl+shift+c
Paste ctrl+shift+v

C-y is paste...

Im just going to say it. What is redo?

just remap the shortcuts of it bothers you.. ??

you shouldn't need redo anyways. nearly nobody with blender uses it often.

redo is undoing the undo.
in photoshot, doing undo twice undoes the undo.
most other programs use a redo function.

I hate this.

>want to copy from terminal
>accidentally ctrl+c
>interrupt sent to current process

>want to copy from browser
>accidentally ctrl+shift+c
>developer console opens up

You shouldn't need to install anything other than windows. Nearly nobody does it often
