Best program to download/sync/organise podcasts between windows and android?

Need help with 4chanX regex filter. So I need to highlight a certain string, but I need it to match only if another certain string doesn't sit before it.
For example I want to match "one" if "two" doesn't sit before it. So "onetwo", "onethree" or "two one" will match, but "twoone", "twoonethree" won't.
I read the linked regex page and there's look-ahead, I need the opposite of that.

Piggy backing off this.

Is there a programs that syncs files and folders as soon as I connect a media storage thing (phone, SD card)?
Like iTunes sync but with everything else.

BEAVERS A CUTE!!!

Is Temple OS usable?
I mean for everyday uses, browsing the net, editing text files, programing, watching videos

Yeah, I'm using it right now, driver support is even better than every other OS because it's powered by the man upstairs, I'm getting 144fps in Witcher 3 on max on an old GT6600.

No, it doesn't even have support for the Internet. A google search would have told you everything you needed to know.

well that didn't seem to do anything. it showed the options menu like it did during install, but didn't change anything.
I tried doing it both ways, rebooted too to make sure, but nothing.

actually wait during the login there was a settings icon, and it said i was on lxde, but the settings page after logging in said it was still gnome. i don't know if that matters or not

What does (make) mean next to a dependency on arch and aur packages?

Required only for building

Why don't all phones/tablets have front facing speakers? When they're on the back, literally everyone in the room can hear what you're doing except the person actually using it.
What am I missing here?

THINNNN
Sony does it. Then people complain about the bezels

How does having front facing speakers make it thicker?

My old LG optimus had that, and I am missing it ever since.
>Put down the phone
>Can't hear the music
Also there already is a speaker in the front, why couldn't they make that one better

How's waterfox stability wise ?

Because you can't have the screen and the speakers in the same place.

but there already a speaker there, for calls

It's so small you gotta have it stuck in your ear though.

when you boot from a new drive, do you loose the tings that were saved to desktop on the old drive?

Quick stupid question, while I update my mobo's Bois can I change my current windows installation with is using legacy Bois to uefi booting?

Is compression on 64bit systems better than 32bit?

Electric shock . . .

Partner sitting on floor with charging apple computer.

Me sitting on bed with charging Samsung phone.

Any contact we have together we feel a mild electric shock almost like a static electricity

What causes this ?

Nope. And you'll need to make UEFI bootables instead, as well.

Reposting from an older /sqt/ that I didn't get a reply for
I got a cheap VPS, using it as a personal web server for one or two dockerised webapps. Is there anything I need apart from Let's Encrypt/iptables to get decent security?

What if I copy my installation as an .vdhx file, reinstall as uefi and re copy my current installation?

getting a new SSD soon and planning on reinstalling windows + adding linux for dualboot
Does dazzloader work on win10 LTSB?

Fine. Just try it, it's not like it would fry your computer and steal your first-born.
I miss my HTC One M7.

Buy new chargers from the OEMs, souds like damage or chinkshit.

How safe is bluetooth connection?
If I use a bluetooth keyboard, how easy is it to have the keystrokes sniffed?

What CPUs are good for a parent notebook which will primarily be used for internet browsing and watching YouTube videos? I see many cheap laptops with celeron CPUs but I fear that they are bad in general. Or are they okay?

Chromebooks.
They're fuck-up proof, can easily be restored if it gets (somehow) fucked up, are cheap and powerful enough for what you want.

It's encrypted.

Does anyone know which of these is main and aux for the internal wifi connectors? I'm not sure what Ch0, Ch1, and Ch2 represent. I tried to get an answer to this in the previous thread, but this was the only resource I could find. It doesn't seem like there's a specific order for the connectors, but it would be nice to find some confirmation.

Attempting to undervolt my RX 480. Can I just keep lowering the voltage and hitting apply while continuously running Furmark? Would it be inadvisable to do this?

What's a good 2.5" SATA-USB caddy brand to get?
Need to put a 1TB backup SSD in it so I want something decent quality that won't fuck it up or break easily.

I want to set up a seedbox (or whatever it's called) with a Raspberry Pi, to basically send a huge number of torrents to download to an external hard drive and seed and keep it turned on all day every day.
How easy is this to achieve for someone with no experience with Linux?

i bought a new cpu power unit for my cpu but it has 4 cpu power cables. does it matter which one i plug into him? and dont try lecture me ive been building cpus before you were born i just haven't made one in 10yrs

I just found a old libretto that comes with 128MB for 30 bucks, but the screen doesn't work, can i repair it? or some pc repair shop can repair that machine?

Any recommendations for a proper file explorer that's not full of ads?

there are file explorers with ads?

How the fuck do I hide comments on Gelbooru? I tried doing it with CSS since each comment div has an id starting with "c" followed by the comment number, but for whatever reason it doesn't affect them.

shit forgot to mention, file explorer on android

there's a bunch on f-droid, none of which have ads
try amaze or ghostcommander

Can I make Firefox ask permission before playing audio on a website and remember my choice?

Very

If the antennas you're connecting are the same then just plug them in, it doesn't matter.
I tried to look into it and it seems they all run through the same components.

>change ssh port
>only allow public key authentication
>disable root login
>install fail2ban or something similar

You could also get the free cloudflare plan for the added security and caching.

Why do I get ads on twitch in firefox but not chromium? Im using ublock in both

Do you use the same filter lists in both browsers? Did you update them?

10.5 pakistani programmers vs. 5 indian programmers but the indian programmers have four hands each

Negative lookbehind is ?

I'm starting to suspect that my ISP is intentionally fucking my connection up late at night and switching it back to normal in the morning.

Is this a normal thing? Is there a way I can confirm it's happening? Because it's been going on for several days now. My connection at night gets really shitty and even cuts out for hours at a time, but just so happens to "randomly" go back to normal during the day.

Do they do this shit assuming that the person is some normalfag that sleeps all night and won't notice? I've heard of ISPs throttling connections that download a lot but that's never happened to me before, so I don't know what to think of this. It seems too consistent to be a coincidence.

m8 I'm Pakistani and I am certain I would beat any Indian programmer in any task. I do contracting and I get paid decent (in UK). Indian programmers are below average.

what are the drawbacks of using opencl instead of glsl?

I really wanted to get a new gpu but the prices are so messed up right now and I refuse to buy unreasonably priced gpu's.
So I am stuck with my XFX R9 390 until prices calm down.
The card is great and plays most of my games on high or max settings with good fps at 1440p, except FFXIV which happens to be my most played game I get about 20-30 fps on max settings which is a bummer but even that is okay I can deal with that.
However what I cannot deal with is the immense heat the card gives off when I use my computer.
It idles at 54 degrees Celcius and when I game it gets up to 86 Celcius.
I am thinking about putting an AIO on it with that kit sold online until I get a new gpu.
What do you guys think?

Is your issue the heat that you feel, or just that the GPU reaches those temperatures? Because all that upgrading the cooling will do is disperse the heat of the GPU better in the surrounding air, meaning the heat you feel should be about the same, possibly even a bit more.

I guess what I am saying is that the upstairs portion of my house gets really hot, even with windows open and doors open.
Its a noticeable difference when my pc is off.

why doesn't intel make graphics cards?

Yeah, better cooling in your PC won't fix that. Your PC will still generate the same amount of heat, better cooling just allows it to more efficiently remove that heat from your GPU into the surrounding air.
The only way you'd be able to not make your house heat up as much is if you'd did something retarded and drastic like having watercooling with the radiator being outside the actual house.

My history in the media player shows that the last video I watched was "Pissing Whores - EPORNER Free HD Porn Tube". How can I avoid my mom finding out about that?

It's really weird that FFXIV runs that bad. I noticed that too after I built my current PC.
I mean it looks really good, but not good enough to slow down that hard.
I can run Witcher 3 just fine.

Move out

I have 2×8gb ram ddr4, 2400mhz

Can I add 2 addition 16gb sticks to this..?

Without losing speed?

How can I get thunderbird to delete messages older than a couple of weeks when downloading from an IMAP Server (leaving them on the PC)?

For whatever reason it only supports this for POP3 and the only help I can find online says "use POP3" which isn't an option.

I get "invalid regexp group" with that

>isn't an option
Why

Because when they tried that, it failed horribly and we got Xeon Phi instead.

Xeon Phi is just a billion pentium cores though

Depends on the media player, but there's probably an option to delete history. You'll probably have to delete the entire history, which could be fishy.

I've just recently been given an Android phone. It's version is only Lollipop and I want to upgrade it to the latest version. Is there a way to revert back to the older version if something goes wrong or if I don't like the new one? Is there a way to "image" my current setup and restore it later? I'm really new to this thing.

Basically. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larrabee_(microarchitecture)

Yeah I have no idea why, my first guess would be that its an MMo and something something.

Well thats a bummer, Any other solutions? Like getting a different gpu?

I uploaded a torrent the other day of a podcast I like. A few people downloaded the whole thing. Now, the torrent isn't being downloaded by anybody.

I'm worried because Qbitorrent says the number of seeders is 0(0), even though I should still be seeding it. The leechers are at 0(9). Is it still working, or is it not showing up for some reason since nobody is currently downloading it?

I don't have any automatic seeding ratio set and all the tracker URL's say that they're currently working.

I was originally at my friends house on his wifi when I made the torrent and now I'm home, could that have something to do with it? I've never had a problem seeding anything from home before.

Yes

The only solutions are to mitigate the heat generation, so getting a different GPU. Or to remove the heat from the house, by using air conditioning or moving the heat source outside or something. I'm guessing air conditioning isn't something you'd really want to do, so switching GPUs is probably the only option.
Personally I think switching a GPU because it makes your house hotter is a bit silly. But the 390 is a slightly hotter card than most I think. I'm pretty sure the newest Nvidia cards are lower temps.

>seeders is 0(0),
You dont connect to other seeders when you're a seeder.
As long as the tracker is reporting a seeder then you're fine

I have central air conditioning, seems like it has trouble getting upstairs tho. And I try to not use it.
I really wanted to get a 1070 a while back but I hesitated and when I was ready to buy one the prices of a 1070 went to 500+. I have 400 Saved right now and was looking at the Vega even tho it would have probably made my room hotter.
I'm pretty much saying fuck it cause there are no decent priced gpus it seems so I am going to save a few more weeks and just get a 1080 ti seeing as they are barely over msrp compared to the other gpu's.

>I have 400 Saved right now and was looking at the Vega even tho it would have probably made my room hotter.
Oh yeah, don't do that if you care about temperatures at all.

>I'm pretty much saying fuck it cause there are no decent priced gpus it seems so I am going to save a few more weeks and just get a 1080 ti seeing as they are barely over msrp compared to the other gpu's.
That's probably the only option. I am not sure how much it will really matter though, while those cards are more efficient and have lower temps, they'll still produce more heat if you're using them.

I installed some cracked program yesterday on my macOS Sierra and my computer has been really slow to load connections. I suspect there is malware or something installed.

Is there a roll back feature like there is in Windows? I want to go back to before I installed this program.

I need help in choosing a laptop for college. I have 2 options:
1)Acer F5-573G,i5-7200u
2)Asus N552VX,i5-6300hq
Both have a gtx950m,8gigs of RAM,i don't really care about storage as i have planned to put a HDD+SSD setup. Which is better?

U-SKUs are low-power, HQ are high-power quadcores. The second is better if you're going to have it plugged in most of the time, the first if battery life is important.

if you want a pile of shit that breaks in a year you go with acer

Not him, but me and my brother never had issues with Acers. And we've had like 3, because of upgrades. Seems to me that the issue is more retarded users.
Just my worthless anecdotal evidence.

>nobody actually demands to watch "pissing whores the video"

I'm seriously disappointed.

How do I use wget to scrape images off Sup Forums without getting a bunch of thumbnails?

>macos

The rollback feature is to pull a .357 magnum on your head. Works really good for Mac users.

I'll take "fishy" over "PISSING WHORES" any day.

>taking stinky cunts over piss which is considered sterile

M8

the midrange acers are always cheap as fuck plastic contraptions that crackle and bend by themselves

Is this thing going to die 5 nanoseconds after I put my data on it?

The F5-573G has aluminum for the keyboard and back-screen

I just bought a 1TB WD Black for about 80 euros. Did I just jew myself hard?

I just wanted to have the fastest HDD.

blue is just as fast

does every integer take up the same amount of space?

as in would 16 0's be the same as 16 various 1s and 0s size-wise?

related question: it is better to use a data type suited to the purpose and expected size rather than the biggest possible?

yes and yes

thanks and thanks

Lets say i used a Takeown command on another computer and now it turns off on its own in windows once it tries to open a admin privilege request.

How do i fix this?
The screen just goes black, i even have problems booting back to BIOS when the HDD is connected, but when its not it boots fine.

I see a lot more people using palemoon now than I used to. What's the deal?

Also, is Chromium any good? I use that on my ubuntu laptop.

I need help with two different operating systems (Windows 7 64-bit and Manjaro), but they have the same problem. I am trying to back up a lot of my files to an external hard drive, but at random times, the copying and pasting will stop because it says that the file name or directory name is too long to copy. One problem I have with this is that I don't know what is considered too long and don't want to dig through every folder shortening every file and folder name. The other problem is that when this message pops up, it completely stops the copying and pasting operation and I lose track of where I was.
For both operating systems, is there anything I can do to get around these errors?
