Motorola
Kotlin is garbage
Moz://a.
It isn't.
Mozilla is a good company. Shame about their investment of time and money for SJW shit though.

i can see the SWJ from the colors
hahahahahaha
Mozilla
SUSE
wtf?
motorola died when lenovo bought them
this
nice bait
I like Wire pretty well. Apolitical, from what I can see. Just focused on putting out a good product.
>fun place to work at
If you like working with idiots.
Here's a talk by a former Google employee who replaced a large function with several loops with calls to two standard library functions and it was rejected by the senior engineer because "nobody knows what std::rotate does"
youtu.be
They are Russians. They don't even have a diversity page on their web.
this.
>I pray they don't get bit by the sjw/diversity bug
If you don’t recognize the logo, it’s Apple.
Mozilla
Jetbrains
Atlassian
PHPStorm is a fantastic product and I use it daily
No shit. I'm tired of product quality taking a back seat to politics.
The Czech, in fact, but the development team mainly is in Russia.
Good products. Subscribtion model is anti-consumer though.

FTFY
Me too, im so surprised of how well the app works. And normies love it with the draw thing and the disturbing amount of emojis available
Yeah. I really hope that their monetization scheme works (corporate groups). Unless Signal actually bothers with a desktop app that's available for Mac, Windows, and Linux, I think they are in a league of their own. The program looks damned fine, too.
I'd like them if they released a free community version of PHPStorm, like they do with PyCharm.
No, this one is shit. All the cool people left.
This camera company
Spot the whitey.
The one that requires you to sacrifice all your contact info in order to use any filters?
>3 days to learn what std::rotate does
Seriously? You could probably just say that it's like a rotation asm instruction but it rotates the vector or whatever's values. Why would it take more than 1 minute.
inb4 Google's bar for hiring new people is REALLY low
Yeah, but I think the price is not too high for how awesome their IDEs are. Especially, when they have this "all free for students" thing, so you start paying only after you graduate and if you are competent you have a good paying job by then.
JetBrains, Atlassian, VMware and Red Hat
Ubiquiti, Juniper and DellEMC
>inb4 Google's bar for hiring new people is REALLY low
It is, why do you think they made Go?
Jet brains, mozilla and whatsapp. Fucking whatsapp rose in ranks of my fav tools from day one. Never fucking breaks, works fast af, no issues, perfect.
Yeah, I like them too. And I'm really looking forward to this self-hosting possibility.
>WhatsApp

No desktop app, requires a phone number, closed source. Literally worse in every single way than Wire.
Didn't even know that was coming. Maybe my old HP Slimline from 2005 will find itself with a new lease on life.
Microsoft
On windows, you feel like a god. Its professional its fast, its all functional. You have a godlike user interface. The thing that the linux does not have. You have those two buttons in the linux, but you still search google for codes to write in terminal. Linux is free because its not worth a penny. Nobody would sell a paper without taking the money. Just not sure why people still buy android while windows phone does 10 times more. Trust me. When you work with windows you know some genius ground breaker dedicated himself to give you an operational os
IDGAF if it's closed software or even owned by someone. It's not the software I use for my project management, it's just a shitapp I use to send memes to my friends or get in touch with recruiters.
Legit best thing that happened is the phone no -> account binding. No more people asking me where they can grab me since good 80% of my acquaintances are using it and they have my phone no.
>IDGAF if it's closed software or even owned by someone.
Then you're a fool.
>It's not the software I use for my project management, it's just a shitapp I use to send memes to my friends or get in touch with recruiters.
And? That doesn't forgive its shortcomings.
>Legit best thing that happened is the phone no -> account binding. No more people asking me where they can grab me since good 80% of my acquaintances are using it and they have my phone no.
Wire allows you to use a phone number if you like. It's just not required (you can also elect to use a throwaway email address).
Your defense wasn't a defense at all.
>Its professional
oh boy
>its all functional
you're trolling, right?
You have a godlike user interface
>dear lord
>Linux is free because its not worth a penny
you don't understand the difference between libre and gratis, do you?
>When you work with windows you know some genius ground breaker dedicated himself to give you an operational os
Wait til you see the source code
None of them.
What about being a botnet itself? It is Open Source or secure (end-to-end encryption)?
Everything is open sourced but the servers. That said, the servers being closed source is irrelevant due to fingerprint verification and an open source code.
>respects your privacy
>commited to diversity and equality
user go to
for 5 minuttes and then come back. Seriously you need to be red pilled.
It has ete encryption.
The app is foss.
Then things have changed since I last researched them. I wasn't concerned due to the open source code and the fingerprint verification to ensure that messages were delivered to the correct device.
this.
I will never be gay, but I would gladly become gay for Tim if he asked me for it.
Apple is ok so long as you don't buy into the entire ecosystem. When you do that, it turns into a nanny OS.
They are russians, their office in Prague and they are Chezh company to be outside of russian jurisdiction.
cannonical
for drivers and still fighting for easy nonautistic desktop and drivers. A little bit sad about ms and cannonical win 10 thing thou
But it was, your counter arguments are not even arguments at all.
>Then you're a fool
Great, now I believe you.
>And? That doesn't forgive its shortcomings.
With this logic you'll only drive the best car in the world or won't drive a car at all and walk everywhere everyday until you get the best one.
>Wire allows you to use a phone number if you like. It's just not required (you can also elect to use a throwaway email address).
Oh, that's cool. I'll actually look it up but at this point I fear there is literally no one using it, why would I be the only one everyone has to install a different app to speak to :o
Which drivers did Canonical create?
>Great, now I believe you.
I don't care whether you believe me or not.
>With this logic you'll only drive the best car in the world or won't drive a car at all and walk everywhere everyday until you get the best one.
Bad comparison, considering both are free. But yes, if you could get a Ford Pinto or a McLaren F1 for free, and you chose the Ford Pinto, then you're a retard.
>Oh, that's cool. I'll actually look it up but at this point I fear there is literally no one using it, why would I be the only one everyone has to install a different app to speak to
It looks way better than WhatsApp, and has a bunch of shit that normies like, like doodling on pics, emojis, gif support, etc. Using both side by side, the only reason that normies don't use it is because they aren't aware of it. That said, I wouldn't expect them to give much of a shit about fingerprint verification.
>Products run JVM
Into the trash it goes.
JUDEN
But Apple products work as intended only if you buy into the ecosystem...
The ecosystem is what made me stop using MacOS, and disable icloud on my iphone. I hated it. Any time anything happened on my phone or my computer, it would start annoying me on both at the same time.
My only complaint these days is lack of app on f-droid.
Being a unix-like OS, you can actually interface pretty well with GNU systems from Mac OS. Certainly better than on Windows anyway. You've got a decent shell, vim, emacs, openssh, all out of the box. It's surprisingly nice in that regard. I still would not use or recommend it these days due to it being non-free software, but I don't have an irrational hatred for it the way some people do, or the way I was raised to.
/thread
>Red Hat
They are the reason all the major distros are stuck with systemd, networkmanager, and pulseaudio. Are you really happy about that? Maybe you are, just felt the need to say this.
Have you put in a request with them? They have been pretty responsive to good ideas.
>Atlassian
kek
LMAO?
Windows is so “God” that you can’t even kill processes.
iOS is indeed a nanny OS, now I don’t understand your point?.
Not everyone wants a nanny OS.
Jetbrains
Google
Atlassian
RedHat
They offer great products and services. I don't care about their political views :^)
The price google asks is too high.
Who said everyone should have a nanny OS?
Also, it’s ios, you have macOS which is not a nanny OS.
Better s nanny OS than spyware/adware OS.
JEWS
RIP
No, didn't consider it, I guess. Thanks for the suggestion.
Mac OS is a nanny OS if used as intended in conjunction with iOS. Taking that shit away puts it on par with Linux at best.
>non-free IDEs
Just no. Not only is it a botnet, it's bloat as well.
>nobody knows what std::rotate does
He probably meant that on a deeper level. I don't know the context, but std::rotate comes from a third party developer, if the implementation of std::rotate were to change on a compiler/library update it might have a negative impact on the function that uses it.
Of course they could have solved this by opening the header file that contains the implementation.
The moto g3 gave me new found hope for them
>if the implementation of std::rotate were to change
The behavior won't change, the performance might change for the better, anything you write yourself is almost guaranteed to be worse than std::rotate.
Urbit
The community edition of IntelliJ is free as in freedom
>Urbit
NO.

I dont believe for a second that someone unironically likes Microsoft.
these two. the rest of the a shit
the best implementations of the JVM are hands down the best software runtimes in existence
>I dont believe for a second that someone unironically likes Microsoft.

It's cracker now. If you are gonna pretend to be a nigger at least do it correctly.
(that's not the name of the company)
This is only true for brainlets.
If only it didn't brutally die ...
Why don't you write your own and then we'll compare?
I thought "cracker" was a meme but because it is such an inoffensive word.
Because I've better things to do than to impress brainlets on a North Korean rocket engineering board.
