As for your question, the answer is no.
This laptop (and most others like it) have no dedicated graphics card, which means you'll just be using the shitty integrated one, which is part of the CPU.
On top of that, this is a 4k laptop which means that even on the games you can run (anything older than ~6 or 7 years), you would need to lower the resolution in addition to the visual settings.

You don't even need to look at the link, it's a 6500U ith Intel 520 integrated graphics
There's YouTube people who make videos showing games running on igpus, often at minimum-med settings 30fps at reduced resolution (mostly just to prove its possible)
With a 4K screen you'll have to chop your resolution by like 8x to get anything usable for any game that's half demanding

don't forget that before the 10XX series Nvidia had the shitty mobile versions of their gpus in laptops, so a 970M is nowhere near the performance of an actual 970.

I seriously doubt that, but this laptop will definitely get you close to that.
Seems like a safe choice as long as you don't mind lugging around an 8.4 lb laptop that lasts for a maximum of 4 hours on battery.
If you're fine with that, then this is a good pick.

The CPU is pretty much the best cheap-ass CPU, and a 1060/580 is pretty much enough for anything 1080p/60hz
