Granted I still had to take a couple calc classes to graduate but how couldn't you just get a C in those with the help of tutors or something? Nigger, just figure out what you want to learn, and then pirate a book from libgen FOR FREE (not a torrent site, so you won't get letters from your ISP), watch FREE youtube programming videos, or do FREE online courses. Programming is literally the most trivial thing to self-teach. There is also no fucking way you couldn't spend some time learning every day, considering you're wasting your time on Sup Forums right now.
I know knowledge =/= employment, but who knows what new employment options you'll have 5 years from now, and you can always just try to be self employed on the side by making android apps or whatever. I don't know much about this desu, but the options are there, so you're setting yourself back if you don't at least look into your options.

It is, but I'm dedicated and I've already spent several years 3D scanning assets and building much of the material etc that goes into something like thi. And really, most of the work is in the assets and the characters. I'll pay voice actors to voice the dialogue of all the characters and probably get some help in doing the animations and character modeling. And because I'm doing some pretty groundbreaking things when it comes to wind, flowing water, fog etc I have to wait for at least two new generations of GPU advancements before it can be run properly. To drive the immersion home there are certain things graphics and physics wise that just have to look right, I want the simulation of nature to really drive the immersion. So I have plenty of time to finish it up.. Which I'll probably need anyways because I haven't done anything with music of sound effects yet..

I always had atrocious math grades in school and I'm fairly proficient in x86 ASM (to the level required to write a simple OS with a filesystem and the ability to execute executables from that filesystem). You don't need to know much math whatsoever to be a programmer, computers operate with simple arithmetic. The only skill I'd say you need outside of a child's understanding of math is the ability to convert between base10 and base16. You're a programmer, not a mathematician, you won't be doing complicated stuff like creating your own cryptographic algorithms.

That can be a bit fuzzy but with this many cameras it should be easy really. Then I guess you'd have to set up collision resolution plans in the remote controller for when doing the letters. Pure math and CS double degreefag here. What this user is saying is true, for the most part, but it's not exactly that simple.
First of all, all of the web dev, web design, and software engineering (SENG) people are often times considered CS by laymen but typically they're actually separate degrees with different expectations and learning outcomes (though there is often some overlap).
Even then though, what exactly constitutes CS is EXTREMELY broad. That is to say that it's possible to gather a lot of different people with CS degrees who have completely different backgrounds (with some basic overlap). Areas of CS include but are not limited to:
>Information Security
>Cryptography
>Database Theory
>Artificial Intelligence
>Computer Graphics Theory
>Programming Language Theory
>etc...
Some of those use some amount of math and logic (though typically not very much at all). Of all of those listed the only one that really uses a great deal of both math and logic is programming language theory (requires background in type theory, category theory, formal logic, non-standard logics, computability, and possibly a non-trivial background in pure math areas like homotopy theory, algebraic topology, abstract algebra, etc...). The area called Homotopy Type Theory sits at the intersection of pure math and comp sci, and from the comp sci side it's typically studied by the programming language theorists who are interested in theorem provers and other crazy programming languages.
tl;dr: Most CS students will need to know at most some babby math like calculus and linear algebra. Though your mileage may vary and it's possible to do a CS degree with tons of hard ass pure math. Instead find out how much math you need in order to study the area of CS you're interested in.
