The difference between 320 and 128 can be noticed through modest equipment. Most people arguing about the sound of flac VS mp3 miss the point.. It's more about archive. If you have the best you can transcode to any format you like. Dunno why anyone would have a limited and technically inferior product when storage is cheap and flacs, at 30 megs a pop, aren't exactly large.

Just fucking download flac, You can store a hell of a lot of music on a 2TB HDD so there is really no reason not to. flac is best for archiving and the quality is easier to verify. You need high end equipment to have any chance of discerning flac from v0/320, and even then you're not going to in a lot of circumstances, that's besides the point. v6, however, sounds like dog shit, 128 sounds like dog shit.
The optimal solution is to archive flac then transcode to v0 or v2 for using on shit like your phone where you probably have more limited storage.
