Which torrent client is the best for me? I need something:
• lightweight • no-bullshit, no ads • supports magnet links • includes RSS reader • Supports categorization & subfoldering (i.e. category "Cartoons" makes files download to "Cartoons" subdirectory) • import & export torrent list & settings OR portability (portability is preferable)
Carson Gomez
Deluge werks fine

Well, I considered it, but it's basically the most popular choice out there after uTorrent, and a general rule of thumb popular = somehow bad

>qBittorrent >copy "C:\Program Files (x86)\qBittorrent" to thumbdrive before formatting >restore folder from thumbdrive after formatting >absolute ass trying to port from system to system What the fuck do you want, to get a blowjob from you bt client while backing it up?
>Deluge Is buggy awkward piece of shit, I happily dropped it like a herpes-ridden bitch the second qBittorrent became viable.
If qBt is a no-go then I'd say pre-botnet uTorrent, but I don't think it supported a lot of the modern features, not even magnets IIRC. qBittorrent is really the only viable option, everything else is utter shit.

What if i dont want to use web interface?
Juan Thomas
how are you having issues with fucking porting it? this thread just seems stupid. you should just use qBittorrent and not be retarded.
Grayson Bailey
These.
Nathan Russell
Just use the normal interface.
Connor Bell
rtorrent provides a CLI interface per default, and additionally an XMLRPC/SCGI interface that any type of application could use.
Cooper Carter
must be qbittorrent's fault
Luke Hernandez
I dont want to use CLI. Why doesnt it have a GUI?
Eli Gomez
It's not a normal a cli it's ncurses essentially a keyboard only gui
Zachary Ramirez
O-ok.
Jason White
I already said you don't have to use CLI. You could use some shit like ntorrent as a GUI frontend on your PC and Transdroid on your Pajeetdroid to check torrents while you're taking a shit.
Cooper Baker
>ntorrent Ill check it out. Im still curious what makes rtorrent superior to other clients.
Ayden Murphy
Only client besides utorrent that can handle 10k+ torrents active no problem.
