is there anything like daz loader for win10 yet? how do i activate my perfectly legal installation

mstoolkit works fine on win10

Which tablets have the best writing/drawing experience?

Also, is it possible to use a tablet with a desktop computer for input the way you might use a wacom or whatever?

thank

What mode is your multimeter on?

>Which tablets have the best writing/drawing experience?
Anything with a Wacom digitiser. Recent N-Trig ones ain't bad either, but do need a battery in the stylus.

>Also, is it possible to use a tablet with a desktop computer for input the way you might use a wacom or whatever?

For a regular windows/android/iOS tablet not really. There are remote desktop solutions that kinda work, or if you don't mind spending a huge amount there's the Wacom MobileStudio Pro which does work nicely as it turns into a monitor+proper graphics tablet when plugged into a desktop.

Diode.

My volume is at 0 but I hear noise, what do?

>Known hdd has been slowly dying for a while now
>Accidentally bumped case just now
>Can hear something making noise inside my case
>Noticing all sorts of slow down during various amounts of stress
Is this the end? I've made my emergency backups just now.

Is it generally considered safe to install graphics drivers straight from Intel if your manufacturer has stopped putting out their own versions of the drivers? XPS 9343 for reference.

speakers are probably blown

Was the MOSFET removed from the circuit? If not, it's dead, the only reading you should see in diode mode that's not over range is from positive right to negative top.

poor shielding somewhere. sometimes mobo

I dare you to restart your computer.

DO NOT activate it using KMS. You are trying to escape the American botnet by... joining the Russian botnet? Yeah, nah.
Go to eBay and search Windows LTSB key, price is like 15 dollars but if you are like you can get it for 12. If you just want a key for pro you can get it for like 2 dollars.
Do not use any anti-win10 saying tools, that shit breaks the OS. 99% of people complaining they have issues with windows 10 is because they install that crap. If needed, install a Ubuntu on a secondary partition for "muh privacy" stuff like checking your bank account and leave w10 for games.

Hi Louis.

Recovery Is Not Seandroid Enforcing
Is this from using a new version of TWRP? This is driving me over the edge...

Oh and I get this all the time. This is how I fix it: Go to microphone, check "Listen to this device", accept, then uncheck it and accept again. Noise is gone.

yeah go waste some money on a key that probably won't work anyway, all because Sup Forums screamed botnet

It's on the mobo. Thanks lad.

May be okay then, can't be sure unless you take it out first.

Do know that it isn't dead short.

You don't happen to know how the new Surface pen compares to a Wacom Bamboo do you?

Where can I get 32-bit XP ISOs? I want to make my T60 into a classic games machine with it's 4:3 screen.

Job is having me set up the security cameras they got in but I've never done anything like this before and I'm supposed to just "figure it out" because I mentioned I had an interest in computers once upon a time. Lol. Hoping someone here has some experience doing this and can give me some advice.

They're PoE IP cameras which all need to be connected back to the central NVR which is located over 100m away from almost all the cameras so I figure I'll use about 90m of CAT5e cable coming out from the NVR's PoE ports, and then use a PoE media converter kit which switches over to coax and will let me go for another 500m (someone correct me if I'm wrong but I'm guessing the distance differs based on the manufacturer) before then having to take the second part of the media converter in order to go from coax back to CAT5e (up to 90m more if necessary) and power the cameras from the NVR.
Can someone just double check my logic here? Also, if everything seems correct, could someone recommend me a high quality PoE to coax media converter? All the ones on Amazon have terrible or no reviews or look like cheap junk and the "official" looking ones on big manufacturer's sites don't list prices and don't have reviews either.

>Inb4 use fiber
Too expensive and doesn't deliver power over the medium. Can't be bothered to run electrical cords to each individual camera.
>Inb4 using a switch
Even if I put a switch at the halfway point between the NVR and the furthest camera, the distance between the switch and devices would still be too much to use just CAT5e by itself. I'd have to use three or maybe four switches in order to use CAT5e exclusively but that's not really feasible as the switches would need to be placed in an inconspicuous location and unfortunately the space for that just isn't there.

You can get at 1337x.

what's a good short textbook or pdf that covers relational algebra and relational calculus basics kinda in-depth? I'm doing set theory review already

college is making me do this stupid online orientation thing. The way it works is it's a gauntlet of youtube videos, each about a minute or two long, each on a seperate page. Once you load the page, a timer the length of the youtube video starts playing. You can just pause the video or skip around or whatever, the timer is completely independent. I'm 99% sure there should be a way to skip it client side to get the link to the next page without waiting, but I don't know how. Anyone know

Best free VPN?

Where can I get Dazloader? The website's link is one of those bullshit survey things.

Ground loop.

Connect your speakers to the same outlet as your computer
Or connect a wire to your PC case and speaker cases

What can a USB C do that doesn't have TB implemented in it? Can you still use it to hook up extra monitors, a egpu or anything? It transfers faster but what else can it do.

It's called windows loader now

/storage/emulated/0/baidu

This folder keeps getting created. I delete it, check my phone and it's back. It's always empty, I've never installed any chinese app on my phone, but it keeps coming back. This also happens if I delete Downloads, for example, but I figured that was because that's more of an android system utility. Anyone know why this is happening and more importantly how to stop it?

Recommended note taking software? Onenote vs Evernote vs something else?

i made a webm on pc using "any video converter" and uploaded to Sup Forums. if another person downloads it, will he see my personal details? i downloaded the file on my windows machine and it say "owner: ". however i downloaded it on my ubuntu and it doesnt show my name anywhere on the file info.

What are the main factors in how long it takes a video game to load? Assuming you have an SSD (which I'd assume means you completely remove the storage bottleneck), is it just RAM and CPU speed that determines it?

No, it'll say owner:his name on his computer

Is there a program that sets a process to high priority from x priority when it's brought to the front, and back to x when you go into another program? (while also setting that program to high)

Am I gonna have any problems if I use a pirated version of windows 8.1 and how easy is it to install from a usb?

What are some Sup Forums approved laptops with good screens? (none of this old thinkpad trash, though they do serve a purpose)

Hard mode: No Macs

Having an SSD doesn't completely remove the storage bottleneck, it is still the limiting factor. If you were to put your game on a RAMdisk instead, then yes, it would be just RAM and CPU speed determining your load times. As well as whether your RAMdisk driver is multithreaded or not.

No, and very.

Webm for Retards is registering frames and times at a different point than MPC. Anyone with a clue why?

This makes it a bitch to trim videos, since I've always used MPC to find the frame easier.

What did built in modems did in old laptops/computers?

I should note it's only on this particular set of videos, it seems to work fine otherwise. Do I just need to re-encode them or something? If so what's the best way to do this.

I really am a retard.

Dell XPS screen.

I would get a second opinion from other video players (VLC, mpv, etc) and see where the "majority vote" falls on frame interpretation. Jumping to a very specific frame # should always yield the same result, after all.

On another note, if the videos in question use Matroska with OP/ED videos stored separately, it could be that webm for retards isn't supporting that feature properly. In that case, you would need to take the frame count from for example the OP and subtract it to get the frame # for the video you're ripping from.

This isn't first generation Intel HD Graphics, is it? My searches havent found me anything, I need to know which driver to install

>dual core atom
cucked

downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26984/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-40-?product=87257

simple googling will take you here

keyword "n3050 gpu driver"

Im trying to download a modified driver. I know its 8th gen integrated graphics, but thats not the same as 8th gen "HD Graphics"

Depends what's provided on the port anything more than just a basic USB 2.0 interface is optional.

On a laptop DisplayPort mode is often supported for hooking up a monitor. On some Alienware machines PCIe mode is supported for external GPU.

On cellphones you often don't even get faster transfers.

depend on your devices.
all windows => onenote
other => google keep / evernote

I hate evernote personally because of the offline edit ability

Braswell uses 8th generation, related to the HD 6xx series.

>related to the HD 6xx
Thanks user. I thought that might be it, but wasnt sure since its a shitty cpu and no number

So, what is the deal with PCIE lane?
Say a CPU has 12 lanes, i heard you can say still run a 4 lane expansion card using just the motherboard so that 12 lane card runs at full capacity

Question: GCC or Clang? I'm on debian.

it happened to me too, then i updated from cyanogenmod to lineageos and it stopped appearing.
In my opinion it depends on how they compile it.

how can I check my battery status in linux? I'm not talking about its current levels but how much of a charge it can hold if that makes sense. it's an old battery so it only lasts like 45 minutes at most anymore

do you use ES File Explorer?
if any app use baidu sdk will generate that folder.

forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=56474791&postcount=39

I pirated AdobeCC photostop/media encoder/reader and everything works fine, except for the creative cloud bullshit that's running in the background.

How do I stop this bullshit from running? Every time I end the processes, they come back up minutes later and launch the creative cloud launcher thing.

I need the programs, but I don't want this fucking shit running in the background.

XPS 13 can't go higher than 8GB RAM with configurations, but I can increase it myself right? Wondering if the memory is soldered on like macbooks...

Depends what platform you're talking about.

AMD Bristol Ridge is the only current one with 12 PCIe from the CPU, which is 8 going to the main PCIe slot, 4 going to the chipset which provides 4, 6 or 8 PCIe out.

There are no 12 lane cards.

Is dual channel ram a meme?

Like I get that there is a *slight* performance boost when using dual channel, but I've been told on multiple forms that it's better to run 2x8GB's in dual channel rather than 2x8GB's in dual channel + a single 4GB ram card. No matter the status of dual channel, 20GB should be better than 16GB, right?

Am I retarded, or is dual channel just a meme?

I was just using a hypothetical.
So, i use a real example. I plan to get a 1080ti that uses 16 and i was thinking of the 1600 which has 16.
By what you said, the main lane wouldn't get 16 so i could easily still add a 1 labe expansion card or whatever and wouldn't be losing anything over what was already lost?

Using windows. Can someone write me a script to make a folder and put 25 photos into that newly made folder then repeat?

install cygwin, then you have linux shell script

If I have a dynamic IP, is there any way to affect what range of my providers IPs I get?

Like in example, he has a 2.94.*.* range, a 101.3.*.* range and a 199.12.*.* range of IPs and I want the 199 one after I reconnect.

>I would get a second opinion from other video players (VLC, mpv, etc) and see where the "majority vote" falls on frame interpretation. Jumping to a very specific frame # should always yield the same result, after all.
It's consistently wrong only on webm for retards.

>On another note, if the videos in question use Matroska with OP/ED videos stored separately, it could be that webm for retards isn't supporting that feature properly. In that case, you would need to take the frame count from for example the OP and subtract it to get the frame # for the video you're ripping from.
Yes I considered this and offsetting it from the OP frames, it was still inconsistent.

Well whatever, I just converted a large chunk into a webm and then used that webm as a basis for the trim. I think that particular video file is just fucked somehow.

I have a giant folder of unsorted images. Is there software that lets me easily sort through them, preview, rename/add tags and then assign to folders?

This might be supremely retarded but...

Why can't I ctrl+c and ctrl+v in the windows command line? It's really bothersome!

Stupid anime girl.

your options are either to request a static ip, or release/renew (assuming they allow you to just release like that) till you get what you wanted and then sit on it

I do this A LOT with unsorted porn pictures.

First, I would download Visipics and run that to get rid of duplicates.

Then, in order to add tags, preview them, etc, you can do this through Windows file explorer by enabling the "Details pane". To edit the name, F2 is the hotkey to rename the actual file.

To sort them to other folders, I would create a tagging system so when you're done, you can search for "specific tag" in the search and then just move all of them to the correct folder.

I'm not sure of an "all in one" program, but that's how I sort through thousands of pictures monthly and I haven't had a problem in years.

ctrl+c normally tells the current running process to exit.
but in windows 10 (anniversary update I believe) they added an option for 'ctrl' keys to work as you'd want.

Sorry!

I suppose I should have mentioned, I'm using Windows 7 and unwilling to use 10.

Then you outta luck bigboy.

docs.oseems.com/general/operatingsystem/linux/view-battery-information

Because you use CTRL to input control characters. To paste you can either right click, or press ALT + SPACE followed by E and P. To copy you can mark with the mouse and then hit return

I see, oh well.
This is actually immensely helpful. I had no idea about any of these functionalities.

You have my thanks user.

That seems like a pretty straightforward way of doing it. Thanks user.

...is this Windows 10? Does it have a working tag system?

Please say no.

Windows has supported tagging with NTFS since 7 (Vista?) I believe

Can anyone explain why smaller resolutions can run at higher-refresh rates?

I'm running one of those Korean monitors with no scaler, it's native resolution is 2560x1440 at 60Hz. It can be overclocked to 110Hz without issue at 2560x1440, but if I try to get it to run at 3820x2160 above about 80Hz, I just get a black screen with flickering. At about 5120x2880 the best it will do is 45Hz I think. If I go significantly higher than either of those the Nvidia control panel just says it's not supported. The card is a 1080Ti if it matters.

I don't really understand why? Since I have no scaler, the GPU is performing the scaling I'd have thought. Doesn't that mean that all the images leaving the card are downsampled/upsampled ones that end up 2560x1440 as they leave the card? Thus, it shouldn't be limited by the bandwidth of the DVI-D interface, or the capabilities of the monitor? Or maybe I'm not understanding how image scaling works.

It's Windows 10 Creators Update and the tagging system works. Tagging system works and I use it to give the picture a tag that's just the model name and when I'm done I just search for said models name in the folder search and then move them to the applicable folder.

Vista had it, it was just janky as fuck.

Ryzen 1600 has 24 PCIe lanes on the CPU, 16 go to the main GPU slot, or if a SLI capable board can go 8 to each GPU slot. The rest of the slots are connected via the chipset, which uses 4 lanes back to the CPU.

>By what you said, the main lane wouldn't get 16 so i could easily still add a 1 labe expansion card or whatever and wouldn't be losing anything over what was already lost?

Correct. Adding a card into an x1 slot won't affect the GPU slot on any current mobo.

Try it. The tagging system in 7 is garbage.

Some file you just can't tag. It's not clear what decides this, file type or what. You can't tag multiple files at once either iirc. And it certainly isn't a quick or easy process. I remember trying it and hating it a long time ago.

Data rate = resolution * refresh rate. The limiting factor is how well the receiver can decode the incoming data.

What monitor is it?

I never used it in 7 so I can't really say how well it worked then but it seems to work well in 10

I installed an add-on for Firefox on Android that prevents YouTube from pausing videos when I lock the screen, but if I'm listening to a playlist and it moves to the next video while the screen is locked it will only buffer the first 15 seconds or so before stopping. Is there a way to fix this?

I tried reinstalling Firefox and it doesn't disable the internet while my screen is off or anything.

Static?
Try setting the performance levels to high.
(windows power management or something)
Or buy a soundcard if it remains.

Qnix QX2710.

I've took it apart before and there's nothing in there bar a PCB for the brightness controls and the panel itself, I'm not sure what a 'receiver' is, I'm not super knowledgeable on monitors. If I disable GPU scaling at any resolution other than 2560x1440 it just runs a bunch of test screens, and it won't accept anything other than DVI-D.

Bumping this.

The DVI to panel interface chip.

If the scaling is for sure happening in the GPU it may be the GPU's display engine that's the limiting factor.
