Can you guys help me install clover os? I have thinkpad laptop with 4gigs or ram and I cant get the os to work
I burn iso to my flash drive and plug it in. The gentoo installation screen comes up and and boots to the clover os thing. It asks for a prefered root password. Then user then username password. It does some stuff then I get some error (see pic) and then my laptop reboots to the gentoo installation .

Prob you installed grub wrong Or your installing on UEFI platform, clover does not have UEFI support, you have to compile a kernel yourself with UEFI support

you have to manually mount it by finding it in your /dev/ folder. If it is a hard drive, you can manually add it to fstab if you want it to be automounted on start up.

Did you add yourself to the wheel group? Use su to enter root. If you can do that, then add your user name to the wheel group.

It's the group that allows you to use root programs with sudo, while bypassing the need to input a password. Log into root with su then use gpasswd -a $user wheel where $user is your user name
