The guy who has been updating its built-in OpenSSL Library has managed to update it to v1.0.1u. The only issue is that Opera 12.15 doesn't recognize the new ciphers. He will get around to fixing that sometime later on unless someone here fixes it before him.

I loved opera before it turned into yet another webkit shill. Would be nice to see it revived in some useable way.

It has been. Check out the custom 32-bit build If you are on Windows.

Can anyone running it on Windows replicate the "code 40" and "cannot complete secure transaction" errors by doing the following?:

1. Close Opera 12.15 if it is already open.
2. Delete the contents of its cache folder (which is in the directory that stores the user's profile).
3. Open Opera 12.15
4. Go to xhamster.com (NSFW).

Bump for opera

Thanks

Didn't know xhamster had https, thought only xvideos had it

Well, now you know :)

I hope someone puts some effort into updating gstreamer or libvpx for Windows so that more videos can be played.

Just an idea, put xhamster in Qualus SSL test, it might give you some hints on the SSL implementation
I am going to sleep now, will try if I can test it on my laptop, are there windows builds somewhere?

*test it tomorrow

What you're doing is a copyright violation. Opera has taken repos down already and won't hesitate to come after you.
Cease.

I think this is great, since Chropera and Opera devs, doesn't gives a fuck about it.

OK this is cool and everything but how do I know there's no botnet? Have people run this and studied it and such?

Also how good is it with modern sites? Additionally, why not just run Opera 12 in Wine?

>modern sites
which are 99% cancer, and shouldn't be allowed to exist.

i agree and certain shit like webgl is just pointless

i remember vrml, this shit, like 3d headset goggles, was all tried in the 90s and nobody cared then either

fuck me do i need to switch browser again?

What are you using?

There's no botnet in it.
