Alright fa/g/s, how do I go about making a VPN on Google Cloud for the sole purpose of 'Merican Netflix? Is it too much hassle? Does it even work? I really would rather just pay 5 bucks for a VPN, but I have like 300 dollars to spend on this shit and I don't trust those cheap shits. I'm looking for a most basic and beginner-friendly guide on how to set it up on a Compute Engine™ instance.

Have you tried buying a cheap VPS on some obscure provider and just using SOCKS? Be sure to buy the VPS from a company who's IP address range won't be blocked by Netflix.
