An undocumented Windows update was pushed by Microsoft last night

An undocumented Windows update was pushed by Microsoft last night.
After updating, Windows gave no information about what the update does.

Clicking on the More info link in Windows leads to support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4033637

A concerned user asked in the windows community help forum what it does.
The Microsoft representative responded
>May we know why you're asking for this specific update?

This is very suspicious.

>July 24th was last night

ComputerWorld actually wrote an article about this today.

Glad I jumped ship around news of botnet in the insider preview.

Can't imagine how cucked all the 10 users are right now...

It was the patch that prepared for the creator's update shit, hence why only people not already running build 1703 get it.

What difference does it make anyway? The whole thing is closed source

This is funny but >july 24.

hahahahahahahahaha

never change, Sup Forums

...

>And it's making that promise in court
As if, they'll take a 5 million dollar wrist slap and then force updates and make 5 billion in adverts to people who upgraded.

Windows is a botnet, everyone knows that

Current state of windows. kek

And yet, they use it and claim it's hot shit.

This

>possibly implying android is any better

They're saying they won't force people to upgrade to a new version of Windows like they did with 10 - not that they won't force updates.

noice

>it's an OP debunks herself by not checking the sources she uses episode

Hmm, I wonder how

>19 posts
>only 2 anons cared enough to check the link and see the actual date

Never change Sup Forums

What the fuck, this is insane.

Fuck MS, but Apple is probably doing the same shit too.

>HUR THINGS THAT HAPPENED A MONTH AGO ARE NOT RELEVANT
Never change, shill.

> complains about nsa involvement in windows
> Doesn't complain about nsa involvement in Ubuntu

it kills the ME killer

lmao microsoft cucks will defend this

people deny it all the time
it's imporant to remind them every now and then

this

The Apple Macbook Pro with Retina Display doesn't have this problem.

>linux is 0,75%
>less then "unknown" and "other"

Some people don't like to be part of statistics. I just assume they are Linux and BSD users.

An updated version of the same patch was pushed to computers last night. That's why it's in the news again. MS still refuse to document what it is for

>Although KB 4033637 has a long history — try googling it — there doesn’t appear to be any official documentation. Blogger Günter Borntraces its historyto this entryfrom larryCGon the Microsoft Answers forum, dated July 24:

>tfw the popularity of android will undoubtedly lead to exploitation of the linux kernel
t-thanks google.
I hope you're ready to entertain God, boys.

Windows is so fucking trash that this could be anything from a new CIA backdoor, to a secret coverup of an old CIA backdoor that's been leaked.
