Coding in bed

Why code at a desk that's stupid for your spine. Who else codes in bed?

I don't code, I program.

i used to a bit

>Implying half-laying-down is better for your spine

>Coding
Get out of here, turbopleb.

I don't program. I craft.

It's less comfy to lay down and awkwardly position the laptop while having to lay completely still. Neither good for my neck nor my spine.

I don't craft, I create.

I don't create I gift.

I'm pretty sure that'll fuck up your wrists, back and neck

mindset

I have a job like a normal adult.

I already have issues with my sleep schedule/getting out of bed in the morning. I'm pretty sure I would end up with muscular atrophy if I tried working in bed.

i kode

>Who else codes in bed?
lazy people?

I invent

>Who else codes in bed?
morbid obesse people and and sick people

I don't zig, I zag

i don't cheeki, i breeki

have fun with your bedsores.

Program while standing up at a standing desk you fat fuck.

I don't suffer, I succotash.

I dont code where i fap

So comfy

I don't program, I develop.

coding in bed is even worse lol
squat is the superior position to code in

>in bed?
I tried, but after a while my back hurt no matter what position or configuration I used. I went back to desk and it's fine now.

I tried for a while but I'm much more productive at a desk. Something about staying in bed makes me masturbate and cry all day. Sitting at a desk with two monitors seems to inspire at least a couple hours of work every couple of days, and I don't cry at all

AAAAAAAAA NUUUUUUU CHEEKI BREEKI IV DAMKE

...

>Something about staying in bed makes me masturbate and cry all day
wait what

>Who else codes in bed
used to till I fucked up my back.

I dont fizz I buzz

I fucking love bed-coding.

Netbook, little stand for tea, drink, a salad and some fruit, maybe some oatcakes or some other grain-based biscuit / cookie and I am set.

I actually put a bunch of old clothes inside of an old hoody and use that for a large surface to lean against. Works really well and makes use of some old clothes.
Then I just use my other pillow and a metal laptop cooler to sit the netbook on. Don't even bother with mouse since I wrote a shitty script in Autohotkey to move the mouse quickly around the screen based on the middle keys of the keyboard. (sub-divide the resolution in to rectangles and move to center)
I've been meaning to rewrite it though.
Also wrote a very simple pseudo-tiling window manager to help with that. Just basic vertical / horizontal splits and special always-on-top for temporary windows anchored usually at the right side since scrollbars exist for long lines.

Taking it on holiday with me next week to do some programming at night and likely hack the hotel router and fanny around with it if it has censors.

Being bedridden is bad for your health. You'll develop open sores.

Try a treadmill desk like Linus Torvalds so you can workout and get fit while you code.

>No using your enigma machine to encrypt messages while in bed
It's like you want your spine to fall out.

pretty sure he ditched that desk pretty quick honestly

Being constantly active isn't healthy.
Being in any stance or semi-static position for over 2 hours is unhealthy for you no matter what it is.

Ask people that have walked constantly their whole life and see if their joints are happy with it. Most times they aren't.
People in retail have horrible joint health well before they even retire from it. That usually makes them retire from that kind of work actually.
Those are the kinds of jobs you go to after you've been working other more casual jobs and kept your body in tip-top shape. (especially nice cosy late-night janitorial work)

>Reclining is better than sitting.
It is.
