Excluding the s8 and note 8 and iphone, what phones have the best camera out there?

Pixel. The G6 is arguably good too, if wide angle and somewhat saturated colors are your thing.

About how much is a used Oneplus X worth?
I'm thinking about switching phones, and my current OPX is in quite good condition, with some light scratches on the screen (that aren't visible when it's on) and some slight burn in where the notification bar is.
They're currently listed as $269 Canadian for new on Oneplus's website

the u11 has the best camera out of any phone

...

reading stuff about the LG V30 did I meme myself into buying the Axon 7? that quad dac and camera quality sound enticing

BLACK. MAN. REVIEWS. A. PHONE.

Will I regret buying honor 9?

Any chance the iPhone SE will get a refresh/update in parallel with the 8 release?

He's right.
>$700
>no headphone jack
>no water resistance
>shit camera
>LCD
why bother with this phone?

>"Bezel-less" while still not curving the screen and making screen protection impossible
>No more meme 2nd screen with useless compatibility with AOSP
>No LG logo in the front
>Generally flagship specs

Is the V30 the best Nexus replacement?

Cell phone supported Bands: GSM 850/900/1800, WCDMA 900/2100, LTE B1/3/7/20

Tmobile bands: 1900 MHz PCS 1700/2100 MHz AWS

will this phone work on T-mobile? Im guessing not

You'll get 2g, possibly 3g, but not LTE

Bought the OP5 during the Australian Soft Launch on Tuesday. I'd say it's the best smartphone purchase I've ever made. Cheaper than grey imports including shipping.

He absolutely destroys the future of that company

what's the best rom for Samsung galaxy s8 plus?

It just got updated with the iPhone 7, and I really don't see what they'd change with it at this point. Change the Lightning port into a USB Type-C port? Remove the headphone jack? Any update will just end up fucking it up. They'll probably reduce the price if anything. So if you haven't bought one yet then I advise that you should wait user.

looking for a decent pre-paid phone with a solid camera
how good of a phone is the galaxy j7, is it worth it, or should i go for something else, i wanna try to stay around the 200$ range

Currently have an S7.

I could Jump to LG G6 for $10 less a month and get a free tablet tablet out of it.

Is it a good idea, I don't really need the added power of the S835 and the G6 has better fast charging.

Did Qualcomm shit the bed with QC4/4+?

None of the 835 phones are using it and are using old ass QC3.

I played with the J7 Pro at a Samsung store recently, looked great although that was under the bright lights of the showroom. Comparing it to my iPhone SE, the video recording sucks ass. But for taking photos it's not that bad. I think it's the best Samsung mid-ranger out at the moment. If you want any better you're going to have to go for the S7 Edge, S8 or later models.

V30 looks killer

did an embargo lift on the v30 or did everyone decide to upload their vids at the same time?

Nigger, the livestream that announced it just ended

It looks generic as fuck desu. they got rid of the unique things the v20 had going for it to make it look like a g6.

The only unique feature gone is the second screen which was always underutilized.
And the battery, but thats industry standard now

All phones are somewhat generic at this juncture in phone design

>No 3.5mm port
Doesn't matter if it's got the best camera, a turd is still a turd no matter how much you try to polish it.

what youtubers do you watch /spg/

is moto good or what

>lelnovo phones
>no headphone jacks

How much does the LG V30 cost now? And how much will it drop?

Anyone know why my Foobar app for Android keeps freezing when not in focus and then resetting the song?

V20 is now at 50% retail price. You can probably expect the same.

they're a good bang for the buck. you most likely won't need warranty support or anything like that. if you're unlucky enough to get a defective unit you can probably get at least a partial refund through aliexpress. you should indeed take advice from Sup Forums with a grain of salt so do your own research and look at different reviews of the xiaomeme you're interested in.

what's the best notepad app for android?

What are your thoughts on the Nokia 8?

Is the OnePlus 5's home button an actual button, or is it that weird non button thing again?

It's basically a better OP5. No jelly, less shitty camera, MicroSD slot, water resistance (only IP54 though)

Not a real option for most because

>muh bezel-less phone

But perhaps the pixel the people will get because the real pixel isn't available in a lot of countries.

V30 looks.... Like a Samsung ripoff.

Seriously, did they have to copy the design entirely??

Excited about the camera and audio but

>LG's turd skin
>hey is that a galaxy s8??...

Nah I just don't like the LCD screen, I would've bought it, if it was an OLED.

>muh bezel-less phone
Bezel-less phones often use a somewhat curved screen, which I find more atrocious than bezels.

Newfag here. Someone in the other thread told me to use Link2SD to get new apps to install to my SD instead of internally. I'm completely lost on what to select to do this though. Is there an (up to date) guide?

Samsung's only contribution has been the curved edgeless screen trend. LG has been doing low-bezel + power button on back, since the G2.

They've probably cross-licensed plenty of tech from each other to get to this stage.

>often

I think only Samsung does this (blackberry had the priv but c'mon, hardly bezel-less).

>I don't want to buy this because it looks like another phone!

All phones look like each other to any halfwit at a distance. Why is this a bother to you?

As for the UI, it really doesn't look too different from stock in terms of System UI/notification bar. Everything else can probably be fixed up via a custom launcher and probably Substratum down the line.

The design (as in please-read-the-definition-of-design-first) its a complete rip-off, lazy asses at LG want to mislead stupid people into thinking they sell galaxies as well.

Capacitive, so not clickable

What would be the Oneplus One of 2017?

I'll put it this way.

Samsung has been doing and improving their design since the S6 Edge.

LG lazy asses come from a fucking ass looking pair of phones that were the G5 and the v20 and they decide to steal a design.

I can't stand this, the Galaxy S5 looked awful but I fucking respect Samsung for not biting the iPhone 4s/5 look like everyone fucking else. Heck, even HTC with their amazing designs copied the iPhone 6 and used a shitty excuse.

>non removable battery

I get what you're trying to say, but that design is only possible due to the tech involved. If Samsung hadn't gone down LG's back power button route, the S8 wouldn't be bezelless.

And there's really only so many ways you can design a bezelless phone. It's literally just a floating rectangular screen.

So I brought the Samsung Galaxy S7 32GB unlocked for £435 how did I do?

there's only so much you can do with the rounded corners and thin bezels meme. they were developed in parallel, it wasn't a case of one copying the other.

>V30 price hasn't been released yet

Should I fall for the Apple Ecosystem meme? My credit score is finally good and I'm sitting here with a 2017 Macbook and Iphone 7+ in my cart and my finger itching on the purchase button. I used Iphone from 4-5s but I always thought that the battery life halved after about a year of use and that Android offered so much more. Should I do eet spg? I'm currently using a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X

>Redmi 4x
You're going to miss that battery life if you do...

You should fall from the roof

usb PD is the future

I need 8~ hours of battery life. I did feel amazing when I upgraded from my 5S to Xiaomi and my battery life increased literally 10x, these things will last me two days without even bothering to charge if I'm not emulating shit. How long does the 7+ last?

>non removable battery
yeah, no. Why would you pay $800 for a phone that you can't change the battery in?

Let's be honest here, the whole redesign that the introduction of the S8 brought was nothing world changing. The Xiaomi MiMix was the first device over the year to come out with the bezeless display which gained a lot of attention (plus if we really want to be accurate here the Sharp had bezeless display phones prior to this). Samsung more than likely went this route and abandoned the old hardware keys for softkeys as a way to shake things up and bring back hype to Samsung in the form of their public image after the Note 7 fiasco happening. They wanted to introduce something that not only would be a large departure from their previous hardware but have it done so elegantly that it would wash over all previous doubt and distrust the brand had. Even I wanted to have one and I dislike Samsung's stuff typically.

As for LG, they have been something not all that attention grabbing to me. The V series always seemingly cool in concept but hard to see how it would really jump out in the real world use. I appreciate that they want to experiment with some things as experimentation in the smartphone industry has been pretty goddamn rare especially after Google abandoned the Nexus program. The V30 seems like LG had a better idea of what people want and not want this time around making it more of a powerhouse and less like a device with some niche features/gimmicks. Some tradeoffs but all around a decent device if what we know now is to be true for every device. Plus unlike Samsung this will likely be poweruser friendly in the dev communities.

Mind I am not trying to shill or suck any corporate dick here, I have done that enough in the past with Google. I am just glad there are options out there in terms of hardware. Especially since Google is doing the least in delivering that.

According to GSMarena the 4x gets 119 hours endurance and the 7+ gets 75 hours.

Roughly half your current battery life is a safe bet considering the aggressive battery management on MIUI.

LG is garbage. I have gone through three LG phones in the past eight months. I've been able to get them all replaced via Sprint's insurance garbage, but now my third LG is having hardware failure after only a few months and I need a new phone.

Can anyone recommend a good phone for Sprint in the US that I can get at least two years out of?

>32GB
it's 2017, bruh

>LG copied the S8
The LG G6 was first officially unveiled in late February, one month before the S8. While I believe neither copied from each other, strictly speaking the G6 was the first to come out with this particular design. The S8 added the curved edges display, which for me is more than unnecessary, but the overall design is there. The V30 clearly takes the G6 design a step forward, by reducing even more the bezels, but the fundamental design is still there.

My contract is almost up. I currently have an LG G4 and really like it, and was thinking of a G6 for my new phone. How are they? Otherwise, what's the best phone I can get from telus in Canada.

>UK
>Higher storage sold out
It accepts Micro SD cards so its fine

>bruh
holy shit die

sup samsung

Full screen protection is still impossible because of the curved glass user, it's sad to see LG get infected by this cancer

C'mon Sung

Looks like I'm sticking with V20. Will XDA spergs be able to give us Android O without LG's involvement? And what are my options for a next gen device with a removable battery?

None

I'm still rocking my oneplus one, and it's started to get a little dated.

I'm thinking about upgrading to the Oneplus Five. Anybody here have firsthand experience with it, is it worth the jump?
