Voodoo 3 + 6502

You need two GPU for that.

No you don't

Enlighten me.

Avoid AMD CPUs for this.

Imagine a system with zero GPUs. It's fine.

Now imagine you add one and set up GPU forwarding. Boom.

You do. You can use integrated graphics from the CPU though.

>a computer doesnt work without mouse b/c how will u click the start menu xD xD

I am aware that an IGP is fine, but that's a GPU as well. These morons think one and only one GPU.

Mobo is as important as CPU/GPU.

Anyway, you want:
1. A CPU that's in this list:

2. A Mobo that's in this list:

3. A GPU that's in this list:

For example,

ryzen 7 because muh coars
gt 1030/rx 550
and gtx 980 or r9 390x

E5 2690v1 CPU with cheap AF ECC & anything AMD, 480, 580, Fury, Nano, 290x.

Cryzen can't into iommu

You need one and only one GPU. You don't need a second GPU or IGP.

There are no problems with running a host headless and having its one and only GPU in use by a VM.

I don't know why you're being a retard about this.

Name a hypervisor that can do this.

KVM. You just have to make sure Linux doesn't grab the GPU on boot, which a default install will tend to do

>all of this autistic bullshit just to avoid installing Windows on metal
>you will ALWAYS get slightly worse performance in a VM

>Intel

Kys shill

>KVM
LOL

not really

How do you plan on using linux and getting to your VM without any video display????

I have an i5-4690K with a 780 Ti. Works breddy gud.

Autostart it on boot, use through SSH.

GL using any X software that way.

Not sure what X software you'd want to run, but there are plenty of solutions for that too.

Voodoo 3 being the CPU and MOS 6502 the GPU in your example I guess?

ESXi

You do know X forwarding exists?
